21-ամյա հարձակվող Հրանտ-Լեոն Ռանոսն արձագանքել է Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականից հեռացվելու՝ թիմի գլխավոր մարզիչ Ջոն Վան՛տ Սխիպի որոշմանը:

«Բոլոր նրանք, ովքեր ինձ ճանաչում են, գիտեն, որ իմ երկրի՝ Հայաստանի համար խաղալն ինձ համար հնարավոր ամենամեծ պատիվն է:

Վստահ լինելով ազգային թիմի մարզչի հետ երեկ ունեցած խոսակցության գաղտնիությանը՝ ես ցանկանում էի խոսել իմ իրավիճակի մասին: Ցանկանում էի նրան տեղյակ պահել, որ ես պատրաստ եմ, ինձ լավ եմ զգում և լիովին մոտիվացված եմ խաղալու ու օգնելու թիմին:

Ի զարմանս ինձ՝ մարզիչն ինձ ասաց, որ առաջիկա խաղում ինձ հետ որևէ հույս չի կապում: Սա, բնական է, ինձ շատ վշտացրեց: Քանի որ խաղաժամանակ ստանալն այս պահին ինձ համար շատ կարևոր է, և ես այն ստանալու որևէ հեռանկար չունեի, համաձայնվեցի վերադառնալ Կայզերլաուտերն՝ պատրաստվելու հաջորդ խաղին: Եվ մենք սա միասին որոշեցինք:

Ցանկանում եմ ընդգծել, որ ինձ համար ավելի լավ բան չկա, քան իմ երկրի՝ Հայաստանի համար խաղալը, և որ դա միշտ այդպես կլինի»,- գրել է Ռանոսը սոցիալական ցանցերի իր էջում:

Հիշեցնենք՝ Վրաստան-Հայաստան խաղից առաջ հավաքականի նորանշանակ գլխավոր մարզչի փոխանցմամբ Ռանոսը հարցրել էր իրեն՝ արդյոք խաղալու է հիմնական կազմում, եթե ոչ, ապա չի ցանկանում այլևս թիմում հանդես գալ։

«Իմ կարիերայում ես նման բան երբևէ չեմ տեսել, որ որևէ մի խաղացող մոտենա ինձ ու այդպիսի առաջարկ անի, որ եթե չլինի հիմնական կազմում, ապա կլքի թիմը։ Ես որոշում եմ կայացրել, որ նա այլևս հավաքականում հանդես չի գա, քանի որ չի կարող լինել այնպիսի ֆուտբոլիստ, որն իրեն վեր դասի թիմային շահերից», — հայտարարել էր Ջոն վան՛տ Սխիպը:
