Հայաստանի պաշտպանության նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանը երեկ հերթական անգամ հայտնվել է սկանդալում, երբ ապարդյուն փորձում էր ստել, թե Ադրբեջանը հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտումներ չի արել։ Երեկ առավոտյան սոցցանցերում տեղեկություններ տարածվեցին, որ Ադրբեջանը, մի քանի օր հայկական կողմին մեղադրելով հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտումների մեջ, ինքն է կրակոցներ արձակել Սոթքի ուղղությամբ։ ՀՀ ՊՆ-ն բոցաշունչ մի հերքում էր երկնել՝ օգտատերերին մեղադրելով կեղծիքներ տարածելու մեջ՝ կոչ անելով հետևել պաշտոնական լրատվությանը։

Արդեն խորհրդարանում Պապիկյանն ինքն էր պնդում, թե կրակոցներ չեն եղել։ Հարցին, թե Սոթքի ուղղությամբ կրակոցներ եղե՞լ են, Պապիկյանը հստակ չէր պատասխանել, փոխարենը վկայակոչել էր ՊՆ-ի այսօր ավելի վաղ տարածած հաղորդագրությունը, որով ՊՆ-ն «հորդորում է զերծ մնալ բանակին և սահմանային իրադրությանն առնչվող ոչ ստույգ, սխալ ու մտացածին տեղեկություններ հրապարակելուց և հետևել ՊՆ պաշտոնական լրահոսին»:

Իսկ Վարդենիսի բնակիչները հերքում են ՊՆ-ին, նշում, որ տևական ժամանակ կրակոցներ են հնչել հակառակորդի դիրքերից։ Բարեբախտաբար, զոհեր և վիրավորներ չկան։

Ընդամենը մեկ դրվագով ապացուցվեց գործող իշխանությունների ստախոսությունը։ Եվ այսքանից հետո անհնար է հավատալ թե՛ պաշտպանության նախարարի, թե՛ այլ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների հավաստիացումներին, թե Ադրբեջանի կողմից սահմանին զորքերի տեղաշարժ չկա։ Ի դեպ, երեկ էլ Հայաստանի արտաքին հետախուզության ծառայության պետ Քրիստիննե Գրիգորյանն էր պնդում, թե Ադրբեջանի հարձակման հավանականությունը բարձր գնահատելու համար անհրաժեշտ բոլոր փաստերի և ազդակների համախումբը բացակայում է։ Իրո՞ք․․․
