Աֆրիկացի արքայազնի կորած համարվող դիմանկարը դրվել է համընդհանուր ցուցադրության

Ավստրիացի հայտնի նկարիչ Գուստավ Քլիմտի վաղ շրջանի նկարը, որը համարվում էր կորած 1930-ականներից ի վեր, առաջին անգամ ներկայացվելէ հանրային ցուցադրության:
Արեւմտյան Աֆրիկայի Գա ժողովրդի ներկայացուցիչ, արքայազն Ուիլյամ Նիա Նորթեյ Դովուոնի դիմանկարը ստեղծվել է 1897թ. եւ պատկերում է արքայազնին ծաղիկների ֆոնին:
Ոչ մեծ դիմանկարը՝ 2 ոտնաչափ բարձրությամբ, ցուցադրվում է Վիեննայի Wienerroither & Kohlbacher (W&K) պատկերասրահի կողմից Նիդեռլանդների Մասթրիխտում ,TEFAF արվեստի տոնավաճառում: Արժեքը 15 մլն եվրո է։
Ըստ պատկերասրահի հաղորդման՝ շրջանակված նկարի վրա «հազիվ տեսանելի» Քլիմտի սեփականության կնիքը կար։ Երկու հավաքորդներ մոտեցել են W&K պատկերասրահին 2023-ին՝ աշխատանքը գնելու առաջարկով: Պատկերասրահը հաստատել է դրա իսկությունը արվեստի պատմաբան Ալֆրեդ Վայդինգերի հետ, որը երկու տասնամյակ փնտրել է կտավը։
Հաղորդագրության համաձայն՝ դիմանկարը Քլիմտի կալվածքից աճուրդի է հանվել 1923թ., իսկ 1928թ. Էռնեստինա Քլայնը այն տրամադրել է ցուցահանդեսին։ Նա ամուսնու՝ Ֆելիքսի հետ նկարչի արվեստանոցը վերածել է վիլլայի։ Հրեա զույգը Վիեննայից փախել է Մոնակո 1938թ.՝ Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմից անմիջապես առաջ, սակայն նկարի գտնվելու վայրը հանելուկ է մնացել մինչեւ 2023թ.։
Վերականգնողական լայնածավալ աշխատանքներից եւ Քլայնի ժառանգներին փոխհատուցելուց հետո նկարը կրկին հայտնվել է հանրության առջեւ:
1897թ. դիմանկարն արտացոլում է Քլիմտի ոճական տեղաշարժը դեկորատիվ տարրերի ուղղությամբ, որոնք նրա հետագա ոճի առանձնահատկություններն էին, նշվել է զեկույցում:
Ավստրիացի նկարիչն առավել հայտնի է ոսկեզօծ զույգով, որը ատկերել է մոտ 11 տարի անց «Համբույր» ֆիլմում, որն ամեն տարի հարյուր հազարավոր այցելուներ է գրավում Վիեննայի Բելվեդերի թանգարանում:
Սակայն նրա վերջին գլուխգործոցը՝ հովհարով անծանոթ կնոջ դիմանկարը ռեկորդ է սահմանել 2023թ., երբ Լոնդոնում վաճառվել է 85,3 մլն ֆունտով (108,4 մլն դոլար)՝ Microsoft-ի հանգուցյալ համահիմնադիր Փոլ Ալենի հավաքածուից: Այն ոչ միայն գերազանցել է նկարչի անձնական աճուրդային ռեկորդը, այլեւ դարձել եվրոպական աճուրդներում երբեւէ վաճառված արվեստի ամենաթանկ գործը:
