Բրիտանիան սառը պատերազմի ավարտից ի վեր Ռուսաստանի հրթիռային հարվածի ամենամեծ ռիսկի տակ է: Այս մասին ասվում է Լոնդոնում Council on Geostrategy վերլուծական կենտրոնի հետազոտության մեջ, գրում է The Times-ը։
Բրիտանացի վերլուծաբանների կարծիքով՝ ռուսական սուզանավերն ու ռազմանավերը, որոնք գտնվում են Նորվեգիայի ափերի մոտ, ամենամեծ վտանգն են ներկայացնում կղզու համար: Հետազոտության հեղինակները հիշեցրել են, որ ՌԴ հյուսիսային նավատորմն ունի 800 թևավոր հրթիռ, որոնք կարող են օգտագործվել Բրիտանիայի վրա հարձակվելու համար:
Լոնդոնում նշել են, որ Բրիտանիան այժմ չունի հակաօդային պաշտպանության բավարար միջոցներ ոչ միայն իր ռազմակայանները պաշտպանելու, այլև՝ խոշոր քաղաքների համար:
Երկրի վարչապետը հրամայել է Ռազմավարական պաշտպանական վերանայում անցկացնել՝ բրիտանական բանակի խոցելի տեղերը դիտարկելու համար:
Փորձագետները Բրիտանիային խորհուրդ են տալիս գնել գոյություն ունեցող զենիթահրթիռային համալիրների «եւս մի քանի» մարտկոցներ, ինչպիսին է Sky Saber-ը, որպեսզի պաշտպանեն խոցելի ռազմակայանները թեւավոր հրթիռների եւ ԱԹՍ-ների հարձակումներից:
«Բրիտանիայի աշխարհագրական դիրքը նրան ակնհայտ առավելություններ է տալիս, սակայն հրթիռային սպառնալիքն աճում է։ Ռուսաստանի հյուսիսային նավատորմն առավել մտահոգիչ է, բայց պետք է հաշվի առնել նաև այնպիսի հակառակորդների հրթիռային կարողությունների զարգացումը, ինչպիսիք են Չինաստանը և Իրանը: Մեծ Բրիտանիայի հիմնական ռազմական ենթակառուցվածքը, որն անհրաժեշտ է իր զինված ուժերը պահպանելու համար, ներկայումս չափազանց խոցելի է և պետք է լինի առաջնային առաջնահերթություն, որին հաջորդում է արտասահմանյան բազաների պաշտպանությունը, այդ թվում՝ Հնդկական Օվկիանոսի Բրիտանական տարածքում և տեղակայված բրիտանական զորքերը», - հավելել է «աշխարհառազմավարության խորհրդի» գիտաշխատող Ուիլյամ Ֆրիրը:
