МИД Ирана вызвал послов Великобритании, Франции и Германии

Министерство иностранных дел Ирана вызвало послов Великобритании, Франции и Германии в связи с их совместной с США попыткой выступить в Совете Безопасности ООН против мирной ядерной программы Ирана, сообщает Mehr.

«Главы представительств Великобритании, Франции и Германии в Тегеране были вызваны сегодня в Министерство иностранных дел Ирана в знак протеста против сговора этих трех европейских государств с США в злоупотреблении механизмом Совета Безопасности и проведении заседания за закрытыми дверями по мирной ядерной программе Ирана», - отмечается в сообщении.

Ранее глава МИД Ирана Аббас Аракчи раскритиковал просьбу Великобритании, Франции и США и еще трех стран провести заседание Совета Безопасности (СБ) ООН в закрытом формате с целью обсуждения роста темпов обогащения урана в исламской республике.

«Проведение закрытого заседания Совета Безопасности по просьбе некоторых стран - новая и странная практика. Эта встреча ставит под сомнение добрую волю стран, потребовавших ее проведения», - приводит слова Аракчи его пресс-служба.

«Мы надеемся, что Совет Безопасности выполнит свою главную задачу - поддержание мира и безопасности - и не поддастся влиянию некоторых стран», - добавил он.

11 марта агентство Reuters со ссылкой на источники сообщило, что СБ ООН 12 марта обсудит в закрытом режиме растущие запасы обогащенного урана в исламской республике. По данным собеседников агентства, заседание будет проведено по запросу трех постоянных членов Совбеза - Великобритании, Франции и США - и еще трех стран - Греции, Панамы и Южной Кореи.
