ՌԴ-ի համար «միանգամայն անընդունելի» է Ուկրաինայում օտարերկրյա զինված ուժերի տեղակայումը, նույնիսկ եթե խոսքը խաղաղապահ առաքելության մասին է. այս մասին ասել է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ ներկայացուցիչ Մարիա Զախարովան: Նրա խոսքով՝ ԱՄՆ-ն հասկանում է Ուկրաինա օտարերկրյա զորքեր ուղարկելու հետևանքները և հետևաբար «իրեն հեռու է պահում» նման ծրագրերից։

«Դա կնշանակի այդ երկրների ներգրավումը մեր երկրի հետ ուղղակի զինված հակամարտության մեջ, որին մենք կպատասխանենք բոլոր առկա միջոցներով: Հատկանշական է, որ Վաշինգտոնը, գոնե խոսքով, իրեն հեռու է պահում Լոնդոնի և Փարիզի՝ Ուկրաինայում ցանկացած տեսակի կոնտինգենտ տեղակայելու ծրագրերից։ Կարծում եմ, որ դա նաև նրանից է, որ նրանք գիտակցում են, թե դա ինչի կարող է հանգեցնել ռազմական տեսանկյունից»,- ճեպազրույցում ասել է Զախարովան։

Հրադադարի դեպքում Ուկրաինայում խաղաղապահ ուժերի տեղակայման ծրագիր են պատրաստել Մեծ Բրիտանիան և Ֆրանսիան։ Սպասվում է, որ մինչև 30,000 եվրոպացի զինծառայողներ կպաշտպանեն Ուկրաինայի ենթակառուցվածքները, քաղաքներն ու նավահանգիստները։

Նախաձեռնությունն իրականացնելու համար Լոնդոնն ու Փարիզը ԱՄՆ-ից սահմանափակ ռազմական օգնություն են խնդրել։ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը ոչ մի երաշխիք չի տվել և կոչ է արել նախ խաղաղության պայմանագիր կնքել։ Միևնույն ժամանակ, նա Ուկրաինայում խաղաղապահների տեղակայումն անհրաժեշտ միջոց է համարել «այն ձևով, որն ընդունելի է բոլորի համար»։
