Թրամփը Կանադային նոր մաքսատուրքերով է սպառնում

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը երեքշաբթի սպառնացել է Կանադայի հետ նոր առևտրային պատերազմի կտրուկ սրմամբ՝ ի պատասխան Օնտարիոյի ամերիկյան էլեկտրաէներգիայի արտահանման հավելավճարի։
Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ վրեժխնդիր կլինի Օնտարիոյի կողմից Նյու Յորքի, Մինեսոտայի և Միչիգանի համար էլեկտրաէներգիայի 25 տոկոս հավելավճարի համար՝ 25 տոկոս մաքսատուրք սահմանելով կանադական էլեկտրաէներգիայի համար:
Դա կարող է հանգեցնել նույնիսկ ավելի բարձր գների ամերիկացիների համար, հատկապես հյուսիսային նահանգներում, որոնք կախված են Կանադայի էներգիայից: Երկուշաբթի Օնտարիոյի հայտարարած սակագների բարձրացումը սպառնում է ամսական 100 դոլարով ավելացնել հաշիվները, ըստ CNN-ի՝ հայտարարել է Օնտարիոյի վարչապետ Դուգ Ֆորդը։
Թրամփը միաժամանակ հայտարարել է, որ կանադական պողպատի և ալյումինի համար ավելի մեծ մաքսատուրքեր կսահմանի, քան նախատեսում էր չորեքշաբթի։
«Հիմնվելով Օնտարիոյի՝ Կանադայի կողմից Միացյալ Նահանգներ մուտք գործող «էլեկտրաէներգիայի» համար 25% մաքսատուրքի սահմանման վրա՝ ես իմ առևտրի նախարարին հանձնարարել եմ ԼՐԱՑՈՒՑԻՉ 25% մաքսատուրք սահմանել մինչև 50% ամբողջ պողպատի և ալյումինի նկատմամբ, որը Միացյալ Նահանգներ է մտնում Կանադայից՝ աշխարհում ամենաբարձր մաքսատուրք ունեցող երկրներից մեկից, -Truth Social սոցցանցում գրել է Թրամփը:
ԱՄՆ նախագահը նաև հայտարարել է, որ էլեկտրաէներգիայի արտակարգ դրություն կհայտարարի Օնտարիոյի թիրախում գտնվող նահանգներում և սպառնացել է «էականորեն» բարձրացնել Կանադայից ԱՄՆ ներկրվող մեքենաների մաքսատուրքերը ապրիլի 2-ից սկսած։
Նախագահը միաժամանակ հայտարարել է, որ ավտոմեքենաների սակագները «հիմնականում ընդմիշտ կփակեն ավտոմեքենաների բիզնեսը Կանադայում: Այդ մեքենաները հեշտությամբ կարող են արտադրվել ԱՄՆ-ում»:
