-Մեծ պահքի ընթացքում կարելի՞ է Մկրտվել։
- Այո, կարելի է։ Սուրբ Մկրտության խորհուրդն իրականացնելու համար տարվա ընթացքում որևէ արգելված օր չկա։
-Ինչո՞ւ է Մեծ պահքի ընթացքում փակվում խորանը։
- Մեծ պահքի առաջին կիրակիից՝ Բուն Բարեկենդանից սկսած Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցում Ս․ Պատարագը մատուցվում է փակ խորանով։ Խորանի փակ վարագույրը խորհրդանշում է մեղքի պատճառով երկնքի արքայության դռների փակվելը, Ադամի և Եվայի արտաքսումը դրախտից։ Խորանի վարագույրը բացվում է Ս. Հարության տոնի Ճրագալույցի Պատարագի ժամանակ: Մեծ Պահքի ընթացքում սրբերի հիշատակության օրերին և տոներին Ս. Պատարագը մատուցվում է բաց խորանով:
-Կարելի՞ է մեղմել պահքի կանոնները հիվանդների կամ հղի կանանց համար։
-Երեխաներին, հղի կանանց, հիվանդներին և կերակրող մայրերին կարելի է պահք չպահել։
- Ինչպե՞ս ճիշտ պատրաստվել Մեծ պահքին։
- Պահքի իմաստը Աստծո հետ կենդանի հաղորդակցությունն է, աղոթքով ապրելը, ապաշխարությամբ կյանքը սրբագրելը։ Ուստի կարևոր է, որ հավատացյալը Պահքը ընկալի ոչ թե տանջանքի, այլ հոգևոր ուրախության շրջան։ Սա ամենակարևոր պայման է Պահքը սկսելու համար։
Պահքի ժամանակ (և առհասարակ) յուրաքանչյուր քրիստոնյա պետք է հնարավորինս հեռու մնա և հրաժարվի մեղավոր ընթացքից։ Անշուշտ, մոլություններից հրաժարվելու համար պետք չէ սպասել Մեծ Պահքին, քանզի դրանցից ազատվելու համար ճիգ անելը յուրաքանչյուր մարդու բոլոր ժամանակների պարտքն է:
-Ինչպե՞ս է պահքը օգնում մեղքերից զերծ մնալուն։
- Պահքը ինքնաքննության ու խոկումի ժամանակաշրջան է, հատկապես Մեծ պահոց շրջանը, երբ հավատացյալները ոչ միայն կերակուրներից են հրաժարվում, այլև հեռու են մնում մարմնական հաճույքներից, ապաշխարությամբ ու աղոթասացությամբ չափավոր, զուսպ կյանք վարում։ Պահքը հիմնավորվում է մարմնի հանդեպ հոգու առաջնայնության կարևորությամբ։ Պահքը հավատի ամրապնդման միջոց է, որն ունի նաև մաքրագործական և ճգնակեցական նշանակություն։
