Անվտանգության ուժերի և Սիրիայի տապալված նախագահ Բաշար Ասադի կողմնակիցների միջև երկօրյա բախումների և դրան հաջորդած ջարդերի հետևանքով ավելի քան 1000 մարդ է զոհվել, հայտնում է Associated Press-ը։
Ընդ որում, լրատվամիջոցի տեղեկացմամբ, զոհվածների մեծ մասը խաղաղ բնակիչներ են՝ 750 մարդ։
Մեծ Բրիտանիայում տեղակայված Մարդու իրավունքների սիրիական դիտորդական կենտրոնը (SOHR) հայտնել է, որ 745 խաղաղ բնակիչներից բացի, որոնք հիմնականում զոհվել են զանգվածային սպանությունների ժամանակ, սպանվել են նաև կառավարական անվտանգության ուժերի 125 աշխատակից և Ասադի 148 կողմնակից:
Հաղորդման մեջ ասվում է նաև, որ Լաթաքիա քաղաքի շրջակայքի մեծ մասում անջատվել է էլեկտրականությունն ու խմելու ջուրը։
Ալավիական գյուղերի և փոքր քաղաքների բնակիչները Associated Press-ին պատմել են սպանությունների մասին, երբ զինյալները փողոցներում կամ իրենց տների դարպասների մոտ գնդակահարել են ալավիներին, որոնց մեծ մասը տղամարդիկ են եղել:
Ալավիների բազմաթիվ տներ թալանվել են, այնուհետև հրկիզվել տարբեր շրջաններում, AP-ին հայտնել են Սիրիայի առափնյա շրջանի երկու բնակիչ։
Բռնությունից ամենաշատ տուժած քաղաքներից մեկի՝ Բանիյասի բնակիչները պատմել են, որ դիակները թափված են եղել փողոցներում կամ անթաղ մնացել են տներում և տանիքների վրա, և ոչ ոք չի կարողացել վերցնել դրանք: Տեղի բնակիչներից մեկը պատմել է, որ գրոհայինները մի քանի ժամ չեն թողել բնակիչներին դուրս բերել իրենց հինգ հարևանների մարմինները, որոնք գնդակահարվել էին ուրբաթ օրը:
Շաբաթ օրը կեսօրին հյուսիսարևմտյան Ալ-Ջանուդիա գյուղում տեղի է ունեցել Սիրիայի անվտանգության ուժերի չորս աշխատակիցների հուղարկավորությունը, որոնք զոհվել էին Սիրիայի առափնյա շրջանում բախումների ժամանակ։
Սիրիայի պետական լրատվական գործակալությունը, վկայակոչելով պաշտպանության նախարարության չներկայացված պաշտոնյային, հաղորդում է, որ կառավարական ուժերն իրենց հսկողության տակ են առել Ասադի կողմնակիցներից ազատագրված տարածքների մեծ մասը:
Լրատվամիջոցի տվյալներով, իշխանությունները փակել են ծովափնյա շրջան տանող բոլոր ճանապարհները՝ «խախտումները կանխելու և կայունությունը աստիճանաբար վերականգնելու համար»։
Շաբաթ առավոտյան կենտրոնական Թուվեյմ գյուղում վրեժխնդիր հարձակումների արդյունքում զոհված 31 մարդու մարմինները թաղվել են եղբայրական գերեզմանում, հայտնել են տեղի բնակիչները։
Սպանվածների թվում եղել է ինը երեխա և չորս կին։
