Այսօր մարտի 8-ն է՝ կանանց միջազգային օրը

Մարտի 8-ը Կանանց միջազգային օրն է. օր, երբ գեղեցիկ սեռի ներկայացուցիչները, ավանդության համաձայն, տղամարդկանց կողմից ստանում են հատուկ ուշադրություն, ծաղիկներ եւ նվերներ: Հարկ է, սակայն, նշել, որ կանանց օրը տոնվել է այլ նշանակությամբ:
Մարտի 8-ը տոնվել է ոչ թե Հիանալի Տիկնանց, այլ հեղափոխական կանանց փառաբանելու համար: Այդ օրը այն կանանց տոնն էր, ովքեր ձգտում էին տղամարդկանց հետ հավասար իրավունքներ ունենալ:
Առաջին անգամ Կանանց միջազգային օրը կազմակերպված տոնվել է 1911թ-ին Գերմանիայում, Ավստրիայում, Շվեյցարիայում եւ Դանիայում: Ամենուր Կանանց միջազգային օրը սկսել է տոնվել մարտի 8-ին այն բանից հետո, երբ 1914 թ-ին Ավստրիայի, Հունգարիայի, Գերմանիայի, Նիդերլանդների եւ Ռուսաստանի կանայք իրենց օրը նշեցին հենց մարտի 8-ին:
Ժամանակի ընթացքում տոնի քաղաքական մասը մոռացվել է եւ մնացել է միայն անհրաժեշտությունը` գարնանը պատվել կանանց` իրենց գեղեցկության, քնքշության եւ անսահման սիրելու ունակության համար:
Բոլոր ժամանակներում ազգերից շատերի մոտ կինը համարվել է «հրաշք եւ ընծա», «կյանքի եւ երջանկության խորհրդանիշ», եւ գրեթե բոլոր ազգային օրացույցներում կա կանանց նվիրված օր:
Իսպանիայում կանանց տոնը համարվում է կանանց հովանավոր Սբ Ագեդայի հիշատակության օրը: Այն տոնվում է փետրվարի 5-ին եւ համարվում յուրօրինակ «մայրական օր»: Աշխարհի «կանացի սկզբի» տոնակատարության հետաքրքիր ձեւեր գոյություն ունեն ինդուիստական երկրներում: Այստեղ առաջին պլանում ոչ թե կոնկրետ կնոջ կերպարն է, այլ նախամոր աստվածացված կերպարը:
Հարավային եւ Հյուսիսային Հնդկաստանի ժողովուրդները երկրպագում են երջանկության, գեղեցկության եւ ընտանեկան ջերմության աստվածներ Լակշմային եւ Պարվատիին: Բենգալիայում գարնան սկզբին (հունվարի վերջին-փետրվարի սկզբին) տոնակատարություններ են կազմակերպվում գիտության եւ արվեստի աստվածուհի Սարասվատիի պատվին:
Ճապոնիայում եւ Չինաստանում «կանացի սկիզբն» ընդունված է նույնացնել գիշերվա եւ լուսնի էներգիայի` Ինի հետ: Բայց դա չի նշանակում, որ արեւելյան տղամարդկանց կարծիքով, կանայք արժանի չեն տոների. ճապոնուհիներն, օրինակ, ունեն միանգամից երկու տոն:
Հայաստանում եւս կանանց օրը տոնվում է երկու անգամ: Առաջինը մարտի 8-ն է` Կանանց միջազգային օրը, իսկ երկրորդը ապրիլի 7-ը` Մայրության օրը, որը Սբ Մարիամ Աստվածածնի ավետման տոնն է:
