Ադրբեջանական պետական լրատվամիջոցներն արդեն հաստատել են Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի ադրբեջանական առաքելության գործունեության դադարեցման մասին, լուրը հաստատել է նաև ԿԽՄԿ-ն` նշելով, որ իշխանությունների կողմից արդեն ստացել են ծանուցումը, սակայն, ամբողջական փակման մասին դեռևս հայտարարություն չկա։
«Ըստ էության, մենք գործ ունենք Ադրբեջանի կողմից միջազգային իրավունքի, մարդու իրավունքների և հումանիտար հարցերում ստանձնած միջազգային պարտավորություններից ու հանձնառություններից հրաժարվելու հետ, որովհետև Կարմիր խաչը գործունեություն է ծավալել Ադրբեջանում, Արցախում, Հայաստանում, պայմանավորված հակամարտության հետ, որը կարևոր նշանակություն է ունեցել ռազմագերիների, անհետ կորածների ճակատագրերը պարզելու հարցում»,- MediaHub-ի հետ զրույցում ասում է Արցախի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Գեղամ Ստեփանյանը։
Ադրբեջանը փորձում է կտրել այդ երկրում ապօրինաբար պահվող տասնյակ գերիներին ու պատանդներին ԿԽՄԿ խողովակից։ Միայն մարդասիրական այդ կառույցի միջոցով է Հայաստանը կարողանում որոշակի տեղեկատվություն ստանալ նրանց մասին։
«Մեր միջազգային գործընկերներն էլ արդեն խոսել են սրա մասին․ Ադրբեջանը նպատակ է հետապնդում զրոյացնելու այն վերահսկողական մեխանիզմները, որոնք ձևավորվել են միջազգային հարաբերություններում, որոնք պետություններին պարտավորեցնում են հետևել մարդու իրավունքներին»,- նշում է Ստեփանյանը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ մարդկանց խոշտանգումների կանխարգելման մեխանիզմները, որոնք առկա են տարբեր կառույցների շրջանակներում՝ լինի դա Եվրոպայի խորհուրդը, ՄԱԿ-ը, ուղղակի չեն աշխատում Ադրբեջանի պարագայում։
«Ադրբեջանը ցինիկաբար, առանց որևէ պատասխանատվության ենթարկվելու, շարունակում է անտեսել կարևորագույն այս մեխանիզմները, որոնք տարիներով ձևավորվել են ապահովելու անազատության մեջ հայտնված մարդկանց իրավունքները»։
Ստեփանյանի խոսքով՝ ԿԽՄԿ գործունեության դադարից հետո ծանր հետևանքներ կստեղծվեն անազատության մեջ գտնվող անձանց հարազատների համար։ Նրանք զրկվելու են տեղեկատվություն ստանալու ամենափոքր հնարավորությունից՝ առողջության վիճակից մինչև պահման պայմաններ։
