ԱՄՆ Նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմը ծրագրում է չեղյալ համարել Ռուսաստանի հետ պատերազմի պատճառով հայրենիքից փախած շուրջ 240,000 ուկրաինացիների ժամանակավոր օրինական կարգավիճակը. այս մասին հայտնել է Reuters-ը՝ վկայակոչելով նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյային և խնդրին ծանոթ երեք աղբյուրին:
Ըստ գործակալության՝ եթե փախստականները զրկվեն ժամանակավոր օրինական կարգավիճակից, նրանք կարող են արագ արտաքսվել: Սպասվում է, որ որոշումն ուժի մեջ կմտնի ապրիլին:
Ընդհանուր առմամբ, Թրամփի վարչակազմը ծրագրում է օրինական կարգավիճակից զրկել ավելի քան 1,8 միլիոն ներգաղթյալի, որոնց թույլ է տրվել մուտք գործել ԱՄՆ՝ նախկին նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի օրոք մեկնարկած մարդասիրական ծրագրերի շրջանակում: Գործող վարչակազմը նախատեսում է չեղարկել ժամանակավոր օրինական կարգավիճակը 530,000 կուբացիների, հաիթցիների, նիկարագուացիների, վենեսուելացիների, 70,000 աֆղանստանցիների համար, ասել պատմել են աղբյուրները:
Reuters-ն այս համատեքստում մասնավորապես անդրադարձել է Ուկրաինայի քաղաքացի Լիանա Ավետիսյանի և նրա ընտանիքին պատմությանը: Նշվում է, որ անցյալ ամիս Թրամփի վարչակազմը դադարեցրել է ներգաղթի հետ կապված դիմումների մշակումը Բայդենի մարդասիրական ծրագրերով ԱՄՆ մուտք գործած մարդկանց համար՝ անորոշության մեջ դնելով ուկրաինուհի Լիանա Ավետիսյանին, նրա ամուսնուն և 14-ամյա դստերը: Ավետիսյանը, որն աշխատում էր Ուկրաինայում անշարժ գույքի ոլորտում, այժմ պատուհաններ է հավաքում, իսկ ամուսինը շինարարությամբ է զբաղված։
Ընտանիքը փախել է Կիևից 2023 թվականի մայիսին՝ ի վերջո տուն գնելով Այովա նահանգի ԴեՎիտ փոքրիկ քաղաքում։ Նրանց՝ երկրում գտնվելու և աշխատանքի թույլտվության ժամկետը լրանում է մայիսին։ Ամուսինները պատմել են, որ ծախսել են մոտ 4,000 ԱՄՆ դոլար՝ ԱՄՆ-ում մնալու ժամկետը երկարացնելու համար ծախսերի և «Ժամանակավոր պաշտպանված կարգավիճակ» ծրագրին դիմելու համար:
