Հայ գրականության մեջ որսորդական, արկածային գրականության հիմանդիրը Վախթանգ Անանյանն է։

Հայ գրող, լրագրող, արձակագիր Վախթանգ Անանյանն իր ուրույն տեղն ունի հայ գրականության մեջ։

Երեկ գրողի հիշատակի օրն էր։ ArmLur.am-ը ներկայացնում է գրողի կյանքը։

Գրողը ուսումը հարկադրված կիսատ է թողել, քանի որ չեն կարողացել վճարել ուսման վարձը։ Չնայած այդ հանգամանքին, այնուամենայնիվ, Անանյանին մինչև օրս հիշում են։ Անանյանը սովորել է Դիլիջանի ծխական դպրոցում և մանկությունն էլ անցկացրել է հենց Դիլիջանում։

Ուսումը կիսատ թողնելու մասին Վախթանգ Անանյանն ասել է․ «Ավարտվեց իմ ուսման ժամանակաշրջանը։ Դրանից հետո իսկական դպրոց այլևս չեմ տեսել։ Իմ դպրոցը եղել է մայր բնությունը, որի գրկում ես մեծացել եմ»։

Լրագրողի իր աշխատանքը սկսել է «Մաճկալ», «Սոցիալիստական գյուղատնտեսություն» թերթերի խմբագրություններում։ Վերջինս նաև աշխատել է պատասխանատու-խմբագիր՝ «Կոլխոզնիկ» թերթի խմբագրությունում։

Վախթանգ Անանյանը, հանդիսանալով հայ գրականության մեջ արկածային ժանրի գրականության հիմնադիրը, ստեղծել է չհնացող, մնայուն և կարևոր արժեքներ։

Իր իսկ գրչին պատկանող «Սևանի ափին» և «Հովազաձորի գերիները» ստեղծագործություններում գրողն իր փոքրիկ, ինչու ոչ նաև մեծ ընթերցողներին պատմում է կարևորի՝ իրական ընկերության մասին, որը մեր օրերում շատ քիչ է։ «Սևանի ափին» ստեղծագրոծությունը կարելի է նաև առանձնացնել գրքում պատկերված, նկարագրված մարդասիրության, հայրենասիրության, բնության շքեղաշուք նկարագրությունների համար։

Հայ մեծերից Պարույր Սևակը Վախթանգ Անանյանի «Սևանի ափին» ստեղծագործության մասին ասել է․ «Վ. Անանյանի «Սևանի ափին» վիպակը մի նոր նվաճում է ինչպես հեղինակի, այնպես էլ մեր գրականության համար… Նա գրում է հյութեղ, պարզ ու հասկանալի, ժողովրդական բառ ու բանով հարուստ, հետաքրքիր լեզվով։ Նրա լեզվամտածողությունը գերազանցապես հայերեն է, զերծ օտարություններից»։

Իր այս երկու ստեղծագործություններում գրողը բացել է մի նոր կախարդական աշխարհ, որոնք, ի դեպ, մեծ ճանաչում են բերել գրողին։

Գրողի առաջին ստեղծագործությունը՝ «Չոլախ կատուն», տպագրվել է «Պիոներ» ամսագրում 1927 թվականին, իսկ առաջին վիպակը՝ «Կրակե օղակի մեջ»-ը լույս է տեսել 1930 թվականին։

Երևանի Կենտրոն համայնքում՝ Հակոբ Պարոնյան փողոցի թիվ 1 բնակելի շենքի առջև տեղադրվել է Վախթանգ Անանյանի կիսանդրին։ Ի դեպ, 1953-1980 թվականներին այդ շենքում է բնակվել անձամբ ինքը՝ Անանյանը։

Դիլիջանում գործում է Վախթանգ Անանյանի անվամբ դպրոց։

Անանյանի 100-ամյա հոբելյանին, որը 2006 թվականին էր, տպագրվել է «Վախթանգ Անանյան 1905-1980» նամականիշ, իսկ 2023 թվականին Երևանի ավագանու որոշմամբ Մալաթիա-Սեբաստիա վարչական շրջանի Շահումյանի 16-րդ փողոցն անվանակոչվել է Վախթանգ Անանյանի անունով։
