Շաբաթ օրը ցուցարարները հավաքվել են ԱՄՆ-ի ողջ տարածքում գտնվող Tesla ընկերության ավելի քան 50 ավտոսրահների մոտ՝ բողոքելու ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի ստեղծած Կառավարության արդյունավետության բարձրացման վարչության (DOGE) աշխատանքի շրջանակում պետական հաստատությունների կրճատման գործում ընկերության գործադիր տնօրեն Իլոն Մասկի ունեցած դերի դեմ, հայտնում է CNN-ը:
Բողոքի ցույցերն անցել են «Tesla Takedown» արշավի շրջանակում, որը, ըստ նրա կայքի, հույս ունի խրախուսել շահագրգիռ կողմերին «վաճառել իրենց Tesla-ները, ազատվել իրենց պաշարներից և միանալ պիկետներին»: «Վերջնական նպատակը նրա նկատմամբ անվստահության քվե ստանալն է բաժնետերերից», - CNN-ին ասել է Լոս Անջելեսում բնակվող դերասան և ռեժիսոր Ալեքս Ուինթերը, որը բողոքի ակցիայի գլխավոր կազմակերպիչներից մեկն է:
Աշխարհի ամենահարուստ մարդը՝ Մասկը, հունվարի 20-ին ստանձնեց DOGE-ի ղեկավարությունը։ Մասկի դերը ի սկզբանե քննադատության է ենթարկվել, մասամբ դաշնային աշխատակիցներին գնելու առաջարկների, զանգվածային կրճատումների, ԱՄՆ Միջազգային զարգացման գործակալության (USAID) կազմաքանդման և զգայուն վճարային համակարգերին հասանելիություն փնտրելու պատճառով:
Շարժումը մեծ թափ է հավաքում նաև միջազգային մակարդակով։
Ուրբաթ օրը Բարսելոնայում բողոքի ակցիա է տեղի ունեցել, ևս երեքը նախատեսվում է անցկացնել այս շաբաթավերջին Լիսաբոնում և Ռեյկյավիկում։
Բողոքի ցույցերը տարբեր չափերի էին, ընդ որում, ըստ Ուինթերի, ամենախոշոր ցույցերը տեղի են ունեցել Բոստոնում և Պորտլենդում, ինչպես նաև Կալիֆոռնիայում և Ֆլորիդայում:
Շաբաթ օրը Արիզոնա նահանգի Թուսոն քաղաքում պաստառներով մոտ 1000 ցուցարար էր հավաքվել։ Վաշինգտոնում, այն, ինչ սկսվեց Ջորջթաուն շրջանի ցուցասրահի մոտ կանգնած ընդամենը երկու ցուցարարով, մեկ ժամվա ընթացքում հասավ մոտ 20 մարդու: Ցուցարարները վանկարկել են «Իլոն Մասկը պետք է հեռանա», իսկ վարորդներն ազդարարել են՝ ի նշան աջակցության:
