Մեծ Բրիտանիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Դևիդ Լեմին հայտնել է, որ մտադիր է երկուշաբթի օրը հայտարարել Ռուսաստանի դեմ պատժամիջոցների նոր փաթեթի մասին։ Այս մասին հաղորդում է ITV News հեռուստաալիքը։

«Վաղը ես հայտարարելու եմ հակամարտության սկզբից Ռուսաստանի դեմ պատժամիջոցների ամենախոշոր փաթեթի մասին, դրանք կխաթարեն նրա ռազմական մեքենան և կնվազեցնեն եկամուտները, որոնց միջոցով Ուկրաինայում բորբոքվում է ավերածությունների հրդեհը», - ասել է նա։

Խոսելեվ ռուս-ամերիկյան բանակցությունների և դրանցում Ուկրաինայի չներառվելու մասին, նա հայտարարել է, որ Լոնդոնը «կաշխատի ամերիկյան և եվրոպական գործընկերների հետ կայուն, արդար խաղաղության հասնելու համար՝ միևնույն ժամանակ հստակ գիտակցելով, որ առանց Ուկրաինայի Ուկրաինայում ոչինչ չի կարող լինել»:

«Հիմա կրիտիկական պահ է Ուկրաինայի, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և ողջ Եվրոպայի պատմության մեջ, ուստի հարկավոր է «կրկնապատկել» Ուկրաինայի աջակցությունը և խաղաղության հասնել ուժի միջոցով։ Մենք նախկինի պես հավատարիմ ենք մնում տարեկան 3 միլիարդ ֆունտ ստեռլինգ ռազմական աջակցություն տրամադրելուն՝ Ուկրաինային առավելագույն շահավետ վիճակում  դնելու համար և պատրաստ ենք անհրաժեշտության դեպքում բրիտանական զորքեր տրամադրել խաղաղապահ ուժերի կազմում»,- ասել է նա։
