Հայաստանի ԱԳՆ-ն օրեր առաջ հերքել էր մամուլում տարածված տեղեկությունները, թե հայ-թուրքական սահմանի Մարգարայի անցակետը մարտի 1-ից կբացվի, իսկ անցակետը կհսկեն ՀՀ ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության ուժերը։ ԱԳՆ մամուլի խոսնակը պարզաբանում էր տարածել, թե Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի միջև սահմանային անցակետի բացման հարցում այս պահին զարգացումներ չկան, լինելու պարագայում կտեղեկացնեն։

Իրականում, խոսակցությունները բավական հավատարժան են, իսկ հայ-թուրքական հարաբերությունների կարգավորման հարցով բանակցություններն ավելի են ինտենսիվացել։ ՔՊ մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, շարունակվում են թե՛ հեռախոսազանգերը, թե՛ փորձագիտական ու միջին պաշտոնյաների մակարդակներով հանդիպումները, տեխնիկական հարցերի քննարկումները։

Նախօրեին էլ Վիեննայում անցկացվող ԵԱՀԿ Խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի ձմեռային նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում տեղի է ունեցել Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի պատվիրակությունների հանդիպում։ Սարգիս Խանդանյանի փոխանցմամբ՝ հանդիպմանը քննարկվել են երկու երկրների միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորմանը վերաբերող հարցեր: «Երկկողմ կարևորվել է տարածաշրջանի ճանապարհների և այլ ենթակառուցվածքների շուտափույթ ապաշրջափակումը և տնտեսական հարաբերությունների զարգացումը», - նշել է իշխանական պատգամավորը:

ՔՊ-ում խոսում են, որ Թուրքիայի հետ հարաբերությունները կարգավորելու հարցում Փաշինյանը հստակ պահանջներ է դրել, փորձում է արագացնել այդ ուղղությամբ «դրական» զարգացումները՝ արտաքին քաղաքական ուղղությամբ գոնե ինչ-որ ձեռքբերում ներկայացնելու համար։
