Հզոր ցիկլոնով պայմանավորված փետրվարի 20-ին և 21-ի գիշերը ողջ հանրապետությունում դիտվել է ձյուն, առանձին հատվածներում շատ ուժեղ։ Դիտվել է նաև բուք, ցածր հորիզոնական տեսանելիություն։ Հանրապետության ճանապարհներին մերկասառույց։

ՇՄ նախարարությունից հայտնում են, որ տեղումների քանակը կազմել է․

  • Շիրակում 10-24մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրությունը հասել է 22-40սմ,
  • Գեղարքունիքում՝ տեղումներ- 10-40մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 15-40սմ,
  • Լոռիում՝ տեղումներ- 13-27մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 30-36սմ,
  • Տավուշում՝ տեղումներ- 9-30մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 30-45սմ (Բագրատշեն՝ մինչև 5սմ),
  • Արագածոտնի լենային շրջաններում՝ տեղումներ- 10-27մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 50-70սմ, Արագածոտնի բարձր լեռնային շրջաններում՝ տեղումներ- 10-27մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 60-120սմ,
  • Արագածոտնի նախալենային շրջաններում՝ տեղումներ- 9-15մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 5-12սմ,
  • Կոտայքի լեռնային շրջաններում՝ տեղումներ- 15-28մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 40-70սմ, Կոտայքի նախալեռնային շրջաններում՝ տեղումներ- 20-50մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 10-15սմ,
  • Արարատ, Արմավիրում տեղումներ- 14-17մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 15-20սմ,
  • Վայոց ձորի լեռնային շրջաններում՝ տեղումներ- 8-10մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 40-60սմ, Վայոց ձորի նախալեռնային շրջաններում՝ տեղումներ- 6-9մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 8-10սմ,
  • Սյունիքի հովտային շրջաններում՝ տեղումներ- 2-6մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 1-4սմ, Սյունիքի նախալեռնային շրջաններում՝ տեղումներ- 3-5մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 4-6սմ,
  • Երևանում՝ տեղումներ-15մմ, ձյան ծածկի բարձրություն՝ 15-18սմ։

Առանձին հատվածներում թափվել են ամսական նորմայի չափ տեղումներ։

«Վերջին անգամ նման հզոր ցիկլոնային շրջանառություն հանրապետությունում ունեցել էինք 2016 թվականի հունվարի 1-2-ին, երբ Երևանում ձնածածկույթի բարձրությունը հասել է 40-50սմ, ինչից հետո հարավ արևմտյան նմանատիպ ցիկլոնի ելք չէր դիտվել։

Պետք չէ շփոթել ձյան ծածկույթի բարձրությունը, տեղումների քանակի հետ: Ձնածածկույթի բարձրությունը որոշվում է ձնաչափական ձողի օգնությամբ, որի վրա գծված են սանտիմետրական բաժանմունքներ և չափման միավորն է` սմ։

Տեղումների քանակը ջրի շերտի (տվյալ դեպքում ձյան հալքից) բարձրությունն է միլիմետրերով, որը կառաջանար երկրի մակերևույթի վրա, եթե այն լիներ հարթ, այսինքն՝ տեղումները չհոսեին, չներծծվեին հողի մեջ և չգոլորշիանար, այն չափվում է տեղումնաչափի միջոցով»,- ասված է հաղոդրագրության մեջ։
