«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Նախօրեին Տիգրան Սարգսյանը ժամանել է Մոսկվա՝ փետրվարի 1-ից ստանձնելու ԵՏՄ «վարչապետի» պաշտոնը: Օդանավակայանում նրան դիմավորել են մի քանի տասնյակ պաշտոնյաներ ԵՏՄ-ից, ՌԴ կառավարությունից, ՀՀ դեսպանությունից, անվտանգության ծառայության աշխատակիցներ: Մի խումբ էլ Սարգսյանին սպասել է իր կեցավայրում՝ նոր նշանակումն ու ծննդյան օրը շնորհավորելու համար, թեեւ ծնվել է հունվարի 29-ին: Այստեղ են եղել նրա լենինգրադցի ուսանողական ընկերները, մի շարք հայ գործարարներ, ընկերներ, որոնք հատուկ Մոսկվա են մեկնել Երեւանից:
