Եթե Հայաստանի համայնքներում մեծամասնությամբ լինեին ընդդիմադիր համայնքապետեր, մենք ներքաղաքական այլ օրակարգ կունենայինք: Այս մասին 24news-ի հետ հարցազրույցում ասաց պրոդյուսեր, Գյումրիի քաղաքապետի թեկնածու Ռուբեն Մխիթարյանը:
«Իմ վերլուծությունը ցույց է տվել, որ մենք, համապետական ընտրությունների գործիքակազմը օգտագործելով, չենք կենտրոնացել համայնքապետերի ընտրությունների վրա ու չենք կենտրոնացրել ռեսուրսները՝ համայնքային ընտրություններում հաջողություն գրանցելու համար: Եթե համայնքների մեծամասնությունում ունենանք ընդդիմադիր համայնքապետեր, եթե համայնքներում մարդկանց հետ աշխատենք, կկարողանանք տեղ հասցնել բոլոր մեսիջները, այդ թվում՝ ազգին ու պետությանը վերաբերող խնդիրները»,- ասաց նա:
Հարցին՝ ՔՊ-ին հաղթած բոլոր ընդդիմադիր թեկնածուները հետո հայտնվում են քրեական գործերի տակ, ինքը նման մտավախություն չունի՞, Մխիթարյանն ասաց. «Եթե ես մտել եմ այս պայքարի մեջ, պարզ է՝ ես հասկանում եմ՝ ինչ կարող է տեղի ունենալ: Պարզ է, որ դրանից խուսափել չի լինի: Գիտակցում եմ, որ այն երկրում, որտեղ այդ գործիքակազմը հրաշալի աշխատում է, երբեք ժողովրդավարության տարբեր բաստիոնների դեսպանների կարծիք չի հնչում. շատ լավ դրա մասին էլ գիտեմ:
Դրա վառ օրինակը Գյումրիի օրինական ընտրված իշխանությունների մեկ գիշերվա հրաժարականն էր ու հեռանալը քաղաքապետարանից: Ոչ մի դեսպանի մոտ հարց չառաջացավ՝ էս ո՞նց եղավ»:
Մխիթարյանը նշեց, որ հատուկ ուզում է շեշտել՝ Գյումրին երբեք ՔՊ-ական համայնքապետ չի ունեցել: Նրա խոսքով՝ վերջին ՏԻՄ ընտրություններում Գյումրիում 109 հազար գրանցված ընտրողներից ՔՊ-ին ձայն է տվել 7,800-ը:
«Ես չեմ համարում իմ քաղաքը նիկոլական քաղաք: Գյումրին մեկ հարց ունի լուծելու միայն՝ մենք մեր վրայից պետք է հանենք այն խարանը, որ ինքը մեր քաղաքից է սկսել քայլել»,- ասաց նա:
