Սաուդյան Արաբիան պատրաստ է միջնորդ դառնալ Թրամփի վարչակազմի և Իրանի միջև՝ Թեհրանի միջուկային ծրագրի սահմանափակման վերաբերյալ նոր համաձայնության հասնելու համար, հայտնում է CNN-ը։
Ինչպես նշում է ամերիկյան լրատվամիջոցը, թագավորությունը մտահոգված է, որ Իրանը կարող է այժմ ավելի հակված լինել միջուկային զենք ստեղծելուն, երբ նրա տարածաշրջանային դաշնակիցները, որոնք երկար ժամանակ դիտվում էին որպես իսրայելական հարձակումների զսպման միջոց, զգալիորեն թուլացած են:
Սաուդյան Արաբիան հույս ունի օգտագործել նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հետ իր սերտ կապերը՝ Իրանին դեպի Սպիտակ տուն դիվանագիտական կամուրջ ապահովելու համար:
Հայտնի չէ, թե արդյոք Սաուդյան Արաբիան պաշտոնական առաջարկ է արել, բայց այս քայլն ընդգծում է իր նախկին թշնամու հետ բարելավված հարաբերությունները զարգացնելու և հնարավոր նոր գործարքի բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ իր համար տեղ ապահովելու Էր-Ռիադի ցանկությունը:
Լրատվամիջոցն ընդգծում է, որ Սաուդյան Արաբիան հրապարակայնորեն ողջունել է 2015 թվականին Իրանի և համաշխարհային տերությունների միջև կնքված միջուկային համաձայնագիրը, սակայն մասնավոր կարգով զայրացել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի այն ժամանակվա նախագահ Բարաք Օբամայի վարչակազմն անկարող է եղել «լուծել Թեհրանի տարածաշրջանային գործունեության հետ կապված իր խնդիրները, մասնավորապես՝ նրա հրթիռային ծրագրի և Եմենից մինչև Իրաք ու Լիբանան միջնորդ խմբավորումների հարցերը», որոնք Էր-Ռիադը դիտում էր որպես սպառնալիք տարածաշրջանի կայունության համար:
Ավելի ուշ Էր-Ռիադը ողջունեց 2018թ․-ին Թրամփի դուրս գալը գործարքից։ Թրամփի պաշտոնը լքելուց մեկ տարի անց Սաուդյան Արաբիայի նավթային օբյեկտները ենթարկվեցին անօդաչուների և հրթիռների զանգվածային հարձակման, որը ժամանակավորապես կրկնակի նվազեցրեց աշխարհում նավթի ամենամեծ արտահանողի հում նավթի արդյունահանումը: Միջադեպի պատասխանատվությունը ստանձնեցին Եմենի հութիները, սակայն ԱՄՆ-ն մեղադրեց Իրանին:
Սակայն այն ժամանակներից Սաուդյան Արաբիայի և Իրանի միջև լարվածությունը զգալիորեն թուլացել է: 2023 թվականի մարտին երկու երկրներն անսպասելիորեն հայտարարեցին հարաբերությունների կարգավորման մասին՝ Չինաստանի միջնորդությամբ կնքված գործարքի շրջանակներում։
Սաուդյան պաշտոնյաները գործարքը համարում են մեծ հաջողություն՝ կարծիք հայտնելով, որ Էր-Ռիադը քաղել է իր օգուտները. հութիների հարձակումները Սաուդյան Արաբիայի տարածքի վրա դադարեցվել են, և թագավորությունը խուսափել է Իսրայելի և Իրանի միջև անցյալ տարվա բախումներից՝ չնայած այն մտավախությանը, որ Թեհրանը կարող է հարվածել Պարսից ծոցի արաբական երկրների նավթային օբյեկտներին, եթե իր սեփական օբյեկտները վնասվեն:
«Վերջին 15 ամսվա ընթացքում Իսրայելը զգալիորեն թուլացրել է Իրանի հետ կապված խմբերը Լիբանանում և Գազայում և հարվածներ է հասցրել Սիրիայի, Իրաքի և նույնիսկ Եմենի թիրախներին: Սիրիայում Ասադի վարչակարգի տապալման հետ մեկտեղ այս իրադարձությունները լուրջ հարված են հասցրել իր սահմաններից դուրս իր հզորությունը տարածելու Իրանի կարողությանը»,- նշում է լրատվամիջոցը։
