«Доклад следственной комиссии по 44-дневной войне будет представлен на пленарных заседаниях в этом году». Об этом сегодня, 11 февраля, в интервью Новости Армении-NEWS.am заявил председатель постоянной комиссии НС по обороне и безопасности Андраник Кочарян, отметив, что доклад имеет гораздо более содержательную ценность, чем простое указание кого-либо в качестве цели.

«Все хотят, чтобы его немедленно представили. Есть определенные силы, которые хотят увидеть, чье имя есть, а какого имени нет в этом докладе. Но я думаю, что мы должны прежде всего узнать о причинах нашего поражения и виновных, против которых сейчас возбуждены уголовные дела. По факту 44-дневной войны возбуждено 13 тысяч уголовных дел. Имена виновных будут объявлены. Недавно был арестован Тиран Хачатрян. Постоянно муссируется вопрос: «Если он был героем, почему он сел?».  Во многих войнах даже героям приходилось отвечать за свои грехи. Если в результате неправильных решений погибли люди, естественно, они должны ответить. Такова судьба человека, носящего погоны», — сказал Андраник Кочарян.

Он также прокомментировал мнение о том, что сам он намеренно затягивает публикацию отчета следственной комиссии по 44-дневной войне, поскольку это дополнительный инструмент, позволяющий избежать увольнения.

«Этот доклад  находится не в моих руках, он находится в Национальном  собрании, и Национальное собрание несет ответственность за этот доклад. Я всего лишь председатель постоянной комиссии НС по вопросам обороны и безопасности, только наша комиссия имеет полномочия рассматривать такие дела, и мы это сделали», — сказал Кочарян.
