Ներհայստանյան կյանքում Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին վերջին տարիներին այդքան չէր խոսվել, որքան վերջին մի քանի օրերին. մեղադրանքների տարափ՝ «ուրացումից մինչև մոռացում»:
Բանն այն է, որ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի՝ Շվեյցարիայում հայ համայնքի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ արած այն հայտարարությունը, թե պետք է հասկանանք՝ ինչո՞ւ է տեղի ունեցել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, և ինչպե՞ս է Սովետական Հայաստանում դրա մասին հնարավոր եղել խոսել, տարբեր մեկնաբանությունների և շահարկումների առիթ դարձավ:
Քաղաքագետ Լիլիթ Դալլաքյանը «Հայկական ժամանակ»-ի հետ զրույցում նկատում է՝ Ցեղասպանությունը չի կարող դրվել կասկածի տակ: Ըստ նրա՝ օրակարգ այդպիսի հարցեր նետելու լավագույն ժամանակը չէ, մյուս կողմից, վերջինիս կարծիքով, Ցեղասպանության մեջ ռուսական կայսրության դերը մութ է մնացել:
Անդրադառնալով ընդդիմախոսների՝ Ցեղասպանությունը իբրև թե ուրանալու մեղադրանքներին՝ քաղաքագետն ասում է՝ նախ թող այդ մարդիկ բացատրեն, թե ինչո՞ւ են տարիներ շարունակ ստել, որ Մեղրիի շուրջ բանակցություն չի եղել, սուտ գրքեր են գրել՝ ասելով, թե դա ամերիկյան ծրագիր է:

Խոսելով նոյեմբերի 9-ի հայտարարությանը վերադառնալու կոչ անողների մասին՝ Դալլաքյանն ընդգծում է, որ այդ շրջանակները նպատակ ունեն Ադրբեջանի կողմից ագրեսիայի դեպքում հարցը շահարկել:
Իսկ պատերազմի հավանականությունը ոչ այնքան Ադրբեջանից է կախված, որքան Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի դիրքերից, ասում է քաղաքագետն ու նկատում, որ Ռուսաստանը շատ ավելի ագրեսիվ է դառում, երբ թույլ է:
Իսկ թե ինչպե՞ս պետք է անել, որ Ռուսաստանը Եվրամիություն գնալու ճանապարհին, այսպես ասած, «չխանդի», Դալլաքյանը պատասխանում է՝ մոտավորապես այն, ինչ անում է Ալիևը: Մասնավորապես՝ մի կողմից ասում է՝ թուրքական բազաներ իր տարածքում չեն լինելու, սակայն ամբողջ ռազմական ոլորտը Թուրքիայի ձեռքում է, Արևմուտքի հետ առևտուր է անում, հարաբերություններ ունի: Նրա կարծիքով՝ նույնը պետք է անի Հայաստանը:
Վերջինս պնդում է՝ պետք է էմոցիաներին չտրվել, պետությունը չդնել հարվածի տակ, այլ լուռ աշխատել՝ ռուսական օրբիտայից կտրվելու համար:
