Գործող իշխանությունների սպասարկուները, իշխանական քարոզչամեքենան քափուքրտնքի մեջ փորձում են համոզել հանրությանը, ԱՄՆ-ում Փաշինյանին լուրջ են ընկալել և ընդունել։ Մինչդեռ, տարրական տրամաբանություն ունեցող մարդու համար ակնհայտ է, որ Փաշինյանին իրականում ցույց տվեցին իր տեղը, իսկ Վաշինգտոն այցից քաղաքական որևէ դիվիդենտ քաղելն անհնար է։ Միգուցե, իշխանական զոմբիների օրեցօր նոսրացող բանակին դեռ կարելի է երկարականջ կենդանու տեղ դնել, բայց ՀՀ գիտակից քաղաքացիների համար ամեն բան պարզ է։

Ամերիկագետ Սուրեն Սարգսյանը, մեկնաբանելով այցը, նշում է, թե Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի այցը Վաշինգտոն ուներ մեկ հիմնական նպատակ՝ հասկանալ, թե արդյոք Թրամփի վարչակազմը շարունակելու է տրամադրել իրեն այն քաղաքական աջակցությունը, որը նա ստանում էր Բայդենի վարչակազմից։

Այս հարցի պատասխանը նա կարող էր ստանալ այնպիսի մարդկանցից, որոնք Վաշինգտոնում քաղաքական որոշումներ են կայացնում։ Այդ մարդիկ են՝ նախագահը, պետքարտուղարը, անվտանգության հարցերով նախագահի խորհրդականը, պաշտպանության քարտուղարը, Պետդեպարտամենտի առանցքային պաշտոնյաները, հետախուզական համայնքի (Intelligence Community) ղեկավարությունը և այլք։

«Էական կարող էին լինել նաև Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի խոսնակի և Սենատի մեծամասնության առաջնորդի հետ հանդիպումները․ նրանք որոշումներ չեն կայացնում, սակայն կարող են ազդեցություն ունենալ որոշումների վրա։ Ինչպես հայտնի է, Փաշինյանը նման մարդկանց հետ չի հանդիպել։ Իհարկե, փոխնախագահ Վենսը լավ իմիջ ունեցող և քաղաքական ապագա ունեցող գործիչ է, սակայն, դժբախտաբար, քաղաքական որոշում կայացնող չէ և, վստահ եմ, առանձնապես տեղյակ էլ չէ վարչակազմի նախատեսած քաղաքականությունից Հայաստանի նկատմամբ։ Սա մոտավորապես նույնն է, որ ինչ որ պետության ղեկավար Հայաստանի հետ քաղաքական հարց ունենա և հանդիպի ՀՀ նախագահի հետ այդ հարցը լուծելու համար»,- նշում է ամերիկագետը:

Փաստացի, Փաշինյանը վերադարձել է ավելի շատ հարցերով, քան ուներ մինչ այցը։ ՌԴ հետ հարաբերությունները վատթարացնելով՝ գործող իշխանությունները չեն կարողացել նոր հարաբերություններ ստեղծել Արևմուտքի հետ։ Եվ այժմ Հայաստանը տանում են նոր արհավիրքների, որոնք, դժբախտաբար, այնքան էլ հեռու չեն։
