Վերջին երկուսուկես տարում արևային և քամու էներգիայի զարգացումը Թուրքիային հնարավորություն է տվել նվազեցնել բնական գազի ներկրումը 15 միլիարդ դոլարով՝ ամրապնդելով երկրի էներգետիկ անկախությունը: Այս մասին նշվում է Ember բրիտանական վերլուծական կենտրոնի նոր զեկույցում:

Հաշվետվության տվյալներով՝ միայն արևային էներգիան ապահովել է 52 ՏՎտ/ժ էլեկտրաէներգիա, որը կազմել է երկրի ընդհանուր էներգիայի սպառման 6 %-ը և հնարավորություն տվել խուսափել 5,4 միլիարդ դոլար արժողությամբ գազի գնումներից:

2024 թվականին արևային էլեկտրակայանների զարգացման շնորհիվ Թուրքիան նվազեցրել է գազի ներկրումը 1,7 միլիարդ դոլարով, ինչը 22 %-ով ավելի է, քան 2023 թվականին, չնայած գազի միջին գնի 18 %-անոց անկմանը:

Երկուսուկես տարվա ընթացքում Թուրքիան կրկնապատկել է արևային էներգիայի հզորությունը՝ հասցնելով այն 19 ԳՎտ-ի, ինչը գերազանցել է 2025 թվականի նպատակային ցուցանիշն արդեն 2024 թվականի օգոստոսին: Հիմնական աճն ապահովվել է սեփական սպառման համար նախատեսված անլիցենզիոն նախագծերով, որոնք իրականացվում են մասնավոր տնային տնտեսությունների և ձեռնարկությունների կողմից:

Ember-ի տվյալներով՝ Թուրքիան նախատեսում է արևային և քամու էներգիայի ընդհանուր հզորությունը 30 ԳՎտ-ից հասցնել 120 ԳՎտ-ի մինչև 2035 թվականը: Երկիրն արդեն զգալիորեն գերազանցել է 2030 թվականի նպատակը պահեստավորման համակարգերով արևային կայանների ներդրման գծով՝ ներկայումս լիցենզավորվել է 14,6 ԳՎտ, մինչդեռ պլանը նախատեսում էր ընդամենը 2 ԳՎտ:
Հեռանկարային ուղղություններ են մնում ջրամբարների վրա տեղադրվող լողացող արևային կայանները, որոնց պոտենցիալը գնահատվում է 53 ԳՎտ, ինչպես նաև հիբրիդային նախագծերը և էներգիայի պահեստավորման համակարգերով կայանները:
