Սկսվում է Առաջավորաց պահքը` ի հիշատակ Հայոց Մեծ Դարձի և Ապաշխարության

Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու Շիրակի թեմը հայտարարություն է տարածել․
«Սիրելի՛ հավատավոր զավակներ,
Փետրվարի 10-ից սկսվում է Առաջավորաց պահքը, որը Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին սահմանել է որպես ազգային ապաշխարության 5-օրյա շաբաթապահք՝ ի հիշատակ Հայոց Մեծ Դարձի և Ապաշխարության: Քանի որ այս տարի Առաջավորաց պահքի վերջին՝ հինգերորդ օրը համընկել է Տեառնընդառաջի տոնի հետ, պահքը կլինի 4-օրյա: Նաև Հովնան մարգարեի հիշատակության օրը, երբ ընթերցվում է Նինվեի ապաշխարության պատմությունը, այս տարի կնշվի հինգշաբթի օրը:
Շիրակի թեմը կոչ է անում իր հավատավոր զավակներին միասնաբար, աղոթքով, պահեցողությամբ անցնել ինքնաքննության, զղջման, ապաշխարության այդ օրերը, մասնակցել Մայր եկեղեցիներում անցկացվող միասնական աղոթքներին՝ ժամերգություններին:
Մեր Տեր Հիսուս Քրիստոսը Ավետարանում մեզ բազմիցս է պատգամում ապաշխարել. «Ապաշխարեցէ՛ք, որովհետեւ երկնքի արքայութիւնը մօտեցել է» (Մատթ. 4:17)։
Այսինքն, ապաշխարությունը ուղիղ պատվիրան է Քրիստոսից: Իսկ, եթե չհնազանդվենք պատվիրանին ու չապաշխարենք, ամենքս էլ կկորչենք (Ղուկ. 13:5)»։
Միայն մեր Եկեղեցում առկա այս շաբաթապահքը հաստատվել է Ս. Գրիգոր Լուսավորչի կողմից: Ինչպես ավանդում է մեզ պատմությունը, Խոր Վիրապից ելնելուց հետո Ս. Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչը նախքան քրիստոնեության դարձի եկած hայոց Տրդատ արքային, hայոց ավագանուն ու ողջ ժողովրդին մկրտելը, 65 օր շարունակ Քրիստոսի հավատքն էր քարոզում և այդ օրերից 5-ի ընթացքում էլ պատվիրում խիստ պահեցողությամբ և ապաշխարությամբ պատրաստվել մկրտության:
Մեր Տեր Հիսուս Քրիստոսը թող ամրապնդի ձեր հավատքն ու կամքը, ապաշխարությանն ուղղված ջանքերը, ընդունելի անի այս հավաքական պահեցողությունը, իր շնորհն ու ողորմությունն իջեցնի մեր ժողովրդի վրա:
