Չորեքշաբթի վաղ առավոտյան Հնդկաստանի Պրայագրաջ քաղաքում աշխարհի ամենամեծ կրոնական հավաքի՝ Կումբխա Մելայի ժամանակ տասնյակ մարդիկ են զոհվել հրմշտոցի հետևանքով, գրում է CNN-ը՝ մանրամասնելով, որ տասնյակ միլիոնավոր հնդիկ հավատացյալներ ամենասուրբ օրերից մեկի կապակցությամբ գնացել են լողալու 3 սուրբ գետերի՝ Գանգեսի, Յամունայի և առասպելական Սարասվաթիի միախառնման վայրում:
Գետի մոտ պատնեշը կոտրվել է, երբ մարդկանց բազմությունը քայլել է դեպի գետափ: Տեղի հիվանդանոցներից մեկի պաշտոնական աղբյուրը CNN-ին ասել է, որ կա 35 զոհ, և թիվը, ըստ ամենայնի կմեծանա:
