Եվրամիությունը կարող է շուտով դադարեցնել Սիրիայի նկատմամբ էներգետիկ և տրանսպորտային պատժամիջոցները, սակայն դեռևս համաձայնության չի եկել ֆինանսական գործարքների սահմանափակումները թեթևացնելու վերաբերյալ, հայտնում է Reuters-ը՝ հղում անելով պաշտոնական աղբյուրներին։

Եվրամիության արտգործնախարարները երկուշաբթի օրը Բրյուսելում կայանալիք հանդիպմանը կքննարկեն այդ հարցը:

Չորեքշաբթի օրը ԵՄ դիվանագիտության ղեկավար Կայա Կալասը Reuters-ին ասել է, որ հույս ունի հանդիպման ժամանակ քաղաքական համաձայնության հասնել պատժամիջոցների վերացման վերաբերյալ:

Էներգետիկան և էլեկտրամատակարարումը նույնպես դիտվում են որպես կենսապայմանների բարելավման կարևոր գործոններ, որոնք օգնում են կայունացնել երկիրը և խրախուսում են քաղաքացիներին վերադառնալ:

Ըստ ԵՄ փաստաթղթի, դաշինքի անդամ 27 երկրների դիվանագետները խորհուրդ են տվել անհապաղ միջոցներ ձեռնարկել՝ «տնտեսական կայունացման և Սիրիայի տնտեսական վերականգնման համար կարևոր ոլորտներում, ինչպիսիք են էներգետիկան և տրանսպորտը», սահմանափակումները վերացնելու համար:

Եվրոպայի մոտեցումը Դամասկոսի նկատմամբ սկսեց փոխվել այն բանից հետո, երբ նախագահ Բաշար Ասադը դեկտեմբերին տապալվեց ընդդիմադիր ուժերի կողմից՝ «Հայաթ Թահրիր ալ-Շամի» (HTS) գլխավորությամբ, որը ՄԱԿ-ը համարում է  ահաբեկչական խմբավորում:

HTS-ն խզել է կապերը Ալ-Քաիդայի հետ 2016 թվականին և անցյալ տարվա վերջին Սիրիայում իշխանության գալուց հետո հայտարարել է, որ մասնակցելու է քաղաքական գործընթացին, որտեղ բոլոր սիրիացիները իրենց ձայնը կունենան: Պաշտոնյաները կարծում են, որ տրանսպորտը առանցքային դեր է խաղում Սիրիայի օդանավակայանների լիարժեք շահագործման ապահովման գործում, ինչն իր հերթին կարող է նպաստել փախստականների վերադարձին։
