«Բաքվի խումբը» հերթական անգամ փորձ է արել ապակայունացնել մեր ազգային քաղաքական կյանքը Նոր Կալեդոնիայում։ Մեր անդրծովյան տարածքներում Ադրբեջանի կողմից իրականացվող այս ապարդյուն փորձերն անընդունելի են և պետք է անհապաղ դադարեցվեն»,- այս մասին X-ում գրել է Ֆրանսիայի արտգործնախարար Ժան-Նոել Լեկորնուն։

Այսպես է նախարարն արձագանքել Բաքվի նախաձեռնող խմբի կողմից այս շաբաթ Նումեայում (Նոր Կալեդոնիայի վարչական կենտրոն) Միջազգային ապագաղութացման ճակատի կոնգրեսի անցկացմանը։ X-ի հայտարարության համաձայն՝ միջոցառմանը, որը տեղի ունեցավ հունվարի 23-25-ը, պետք է մասնակցեին Ֆրանսիայի անդրծովյան տարածքներից, ինչպես նաև Կորսիկայի մի քանի ասոցիացիաների ներկայացուցիչներ, որոնք հանդես էին գալիս Ֆրանսիայից անկախանալու օգտին։

2024 թվականի հուլիսին Ադրբեջանի մայրաքաղաքում կազմակերպված նախորդ համագումարին մասնակցել են ավելի քան 15 քաղաքական կուսակցությունների և անկախության շարժումների առաջնորդներ Գվադելուպայից, Կորսիկայից, Մելանեզիայից, Պոլինեզիայից, Կարիբյան և Անթիլյան կղզիներից: Այս հանդիպմանը նրանք ստորագրեցին հռչակագիր Ֆրանսիական գաղութների միջազգային ազատագրական ճակատ ստեղծելու մասին։

Բաքվի նախաձեռնող խումբը ստեղծվել է 2023 թվականի հուլիսին Ադրբեջանում կայացած համաժողովում՝ Չմիավորման շարժման համակարգող բյուրոյի նախարարական հանդիպման շրջանակներում։ Այն հայտարարեց իր նպատակը՝ աջակցել 21-րդ դարում գաղութատիրությունից տառապող ժողովուրդների պայքարին։
