Հայաստանի խորհրդարանը փետրվարի 11-ին սպասվող լիագումար նիստում քննարկման է դնելու «ԵՄ-ին ՀՀ անդամակցության գործընթացի մեկնարկի մասին» օրինագիծը, որը նախօրեին ընդունվել էր գլխադասային՝ Եվրաինտեգրման հարցերի հանձնաժողովում։ Քննարկումների ընթացքում պարզ դարձավ, որ Հայաստանը ևս մեկ փոխվարչապետ կարող է ունենալ, որն էլ զբաղվելու է եվրաինտեգրման հարցերով։ ՔՊ պատգամավոր Սոնա Ղազարյանն ասաց, որ անհրաժեշտ է 3-րդ փոխվարչապետ ունենալ, որը կզբաղվի միայն ԵՄ ինտեգրման հարցերով։

Գործող Սահմանադրությունն այդ հնարավորությունը տալիս է։ 2018 թ. իշխանափոխությունից հետո Փաշինյանն առաջին փոխվարչապետի պաշտոնում նշանակել էր Արարատ Միրզոյանին, բայց արդեն 2019 թ. սկզբին, երբ Միրզոյանն ԱԺ նախագահ դարձավ, փոխվաչապետի պաշտոնը հանեցին։ Այժմ էլ ցանկանում են վերականգնել։ Մեր տեղեկություններով, փոխվարչապետի պաշտոնին հավակնողները հենց «Եվրաքվե» նախաձեռնությունից են։ Մասնավորապես, «Հանրապետություն» կուսակցության ղեկավար Արամ Սարգսյանը և «Հանուն հանրապետության» կուսակցության նախագահ Արման Բաբաջանյանը ցանկանում են դառնալ առաջին փոխվարչապետ։ Եվ դրա համար էլ տարբեր խողովակներով փորձում են առաջնային դիրք գրավել թե՛ Արևմուտքի աչքում, թե՛ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին իրենց հավատարմությունը ցուցադրելիս։

Արևմտյան դեսպանատների համար առանձնապես մեծ նշանակություն չունի, թե ով կլինի առաջին փոխվարչապետը։ Բայց ԵՄ ինտեգրման գործընթացը, անկախ ամենից, նաև բավական շահութաբեր գործ է, որի համար էլ լուրջ պայքար է սպասվում։ Չի բացառվում, որ այս երկու քաղաքական ուժերն առաջիկայում սկսեն իրար տակ փորել։ Հայաստանում նման դրսևորումները բնավ էլ եզակի չեն։
