В США задержали 538 нелегальных мигрантов

США в рамках масштабной операции по борьбе с миграцией задержали 538 нелегалов, включая подозреваемого в терроризме, а также депортировали сотни мигрантов, сообщила пресс-секретарь Белого дома Каролин Левитт на своей странице в X.
«Администрация (президента США) Трампа задержала преступников среди нелегальных мигрантов, включая подозреваемого в терроризме... Также военной авиацией... депортированы сотни преступников среди нелегальных мигрантов. Крупнейшая операция по массовой депортации в истории идет полным ходом», - сообщила Левитт.
Также, согласно сообщению, среди задержанных - четверо членов крупной венесуэльской преступной организации «Трен де Арагуа» и несколько нелегалов, осужденных за сексуальные преступления против несовершеннолетних.
При этом в сообщении не указывается, куда именно были депортированы мигранты.
В понедельник Трамп в своей первой речи в должности 47-го президента США пообещал немедленно остановить проникновение нелегалов на американскую территорию и начать процесс экстрадиции миллионов мигрантов. Трамп также ввел общенациональный режим чрезвычайной ситуации в связи с положением на южной границе США.
