Белый дом направит еще больше войск к границе с Мексикой

Пресс-секретарь Белого дома Каролин Ливитт в интервью телеканалу NBC News заявила, что администрация президента США Дональда Трампа планирует направить к границе с Мексикой дополнительные войска в дополнение к 1500, которые уже находятся в пути.
«Как вы знаете, многое из этого требует финансирования со стороны Конгресса, о чем президент открыто говорил. Президент подписал приказ о том, чтобы сделать национальную безопасность ключевой частью миссии Министерства обороны, и вы видите, что эти действия уже осуществляются», - сказала она.
Ливитт также заявила, что ей ничего не известно о том, что президент США разговаривал или встречался с кем-либо из участников беспорядков 6 января, которых он помиловал.
Она добавила, что Трамп все еще собирается посетить Калифорнию завтра, чтобы оценить ущерб от лесных пожаров, хотя пожарные и сотрудники экстренных служб все еще пытаются взять их под контроль, включая новые, которые вспыхнули вчера.
