Բրիտանական The Telegraph պարբերականը հրապարակել է աշխարհի ամենասարսափելի օդանավակայանների ցանկը, որտեղ ներառվել են 4 մայրցամաքների՝ Ասիայի, Աֆրիկայի, Եվրոպայի ու Հարավային Ամերիկայի ավիահանգրվանները:
Մասնավորապես, ցանկում ներառվել է Բուտան թագավորության «Պարո» օդանավակայանը, որը համարվում է աշխարհի ամենաբարդ օդանավակայանը թռիչքների ու վայրէջքների տեսանկյունից: Օդանավակայանը գտնվում է հովտում՝ շրջապատված Հիմալայան լեռնագագաթներով:
Պարբերականը հիշատակել է նաև Լեսոտոյի «Մատեկանե» օդանավակայանը, որի թռիչքուղին կազմում է ընդամենը 400 մետր, բացի այդ, այն ավարտվում է 600 մետրանոց անդունդի եզրին:
Ռեկորդակիր օդանավակայանների թվին պատկանում է նաև «Արքայադուստր Յուլյանայի» օդանավակայանը Սուրբ Մարտին կղզում: Դրա թռիչքուղին հարում է Մախո լողափին, ու ինքնաթիռները ստիպված են թռչել հանգստացողների գլխավերևով՝ 10 մ բարձրության վրա:
Եվս մեկ սարսափելի վայր է օդաչուների համար Մադեյրայի օդանավականը (Պորտուգալիա): Այն անսովոր է նրանով, որ թռիչքուղու կեսը պահվում է 150 տոննա կշռող երկաթբետոնե սյուների վրա:
