Մոտ 270․000 միգրանտ սպասում է ԱՄՆ-Մեքսիկա սահմանի մեքսիկական կողմին՝ հույս ունենալով մուտք գործել ԱՄՆ այն համակարգի միջոցով, որը նորընտիր նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը խոստացել է վերացնել, համաձայն կառավարության տվյալների, հայտնում է CBS News-ը։
ԱՄՆ մաքսային և սահմանային ծառայության գնահատականների համաձայն, Մեքսիկայում մոտ 270․000 միգրանտ փորձում է ընդունելության գրանցվել՝ օգտագործելով CBP One կառավարական հավելվածը, որը Բայդենի վարչակազմը վերածել է ապաստանի տրամադրման ամերիկյան համակարգի գլխավոր մուտքի:
Այժմ այդ միգրանտները, որոնցից շատերը գալիս են Մեքսիկայից դուրս գտնվող երկրներից, ինչպիսիք են ճգնաժամից տուժած Հաիթին ու Վենեսուելան, վտանգի են ենթարկվում հանկարծակի զրկվել ԱՄՆ մուտքի հնարավորությունից, ինչպես Թրամփի, այնպես էլ ՛ Հարավային Դակոտայի նահանգապետի օրոք: Ներքին անվտանգության դեպարտամենտը ղեկավարելու համար առաջադրված Քրիստի Նոեմը խոստացել է փակել CBP One-ը:
Հավելվածը թույլ է տալիս Մեքսիկայի որոշակի մասերում գտնվող միգրանտներին ժամանակ խնդրել ԱՄՆ ներգաղթի պաշտոնյաների հետ օրինական սահմանային անցակետերում ընթացակարգի անցման համար:
Բայդենի վարչակազմը սկսել է այս գործընթացը անօրինական ներգաղթի դեմ պայքարի ավելի լայն ջանքերի շրջանակում՝ միգրանտներին ԱՄՆ մուտք գործելու օրինական ուղիներ առաջարկելով: Նրանց, ովքեր մուտք են գործում Միացյալ Նահանգներ այս համակարգով, թույլատրվում է իրենց նշանակման վայրին մոտ գտնվող ներգաղթի դատարաններ դիմել աշխատանքի թույլտվության և ապաստան ստանալու համար:
Հունվարի 16-ի դրությամբ գրեթե 919,000 միգրանտի թույլտվություն է տրվել մուտք գործել ԱՄՆ CBP One հավելվածի միջոցով, որը գործարկվել է 2023 թվականի հունվարին: Անհասկանալի է, թե ինչ ծրագրեր ունի նոր վարչակազմը նրանց համար, ովքեր արդեն ընդունվել են հավելվածի միջոցով, թեև նրանք, ովքեր սպասում են ապաստանի հայցով, չեն ենթարկվի արտաքսման, եթե իհարկե տանուլ չտան իրենց գործերը։
