Ավելի քան 80 մարդ է զոհվել Կոլումբիայի հյուսիսարևելքում խաղաղության բանակցությունների ձախողման հետևանքով

Ավելի քան 80 մարդ է զոհվել երկրի հյուսիսարևելյան տարածաշրջանում «Ազգային ազատագրական բանակի» (ԱԱԲ) հետ խաղաղ բանակցություններ վարելու փորձերի ձախողման հետևանքով, հայտնում է Associated Press-ը։
Ըստ Հյուսիսային Սանտանդերի նահանգապետ Ուիլյամ Վիլյամիսարի, ևս 20 մարդ վիրավորվել է:
Զոհերի թվում են համայնքի ղեկավար Կարմելո Գերերոն և յոթ մարդ, որոնք փորձել են ստորագրել խաղաղության համաձայնագիրը, ասվում է կառավարության օմբուդսմենի գործակալության կողմից շաբաթ ուշ երեկոյան հրապարակված զեկույցում:
Իշխանությունները հայտնել են, որ հարձակումները տեղի են ունեցել Վենեսուելայի հետ սահմանի մոտ գտնվող Կատատումբո շրջանի մի քանի քաղաքներում, միաժամանակ առևանգվել է խաղաղ բանակցություններում ներգրավված առնվազն երեք մարդ: Հազարավոր մարդիկ լքում են տարածքը, ոմանք թաքնվում են մոտակա փարթամ բուսականությամբ ծածկված լեռներում կամ օգնություն են փնտրում պետական ապաստարաններում:
Հարձակումը տեղի է ունեցել այն բանից հետո, երբ Կոլումբիան ուրբաթ օրը երկրորդ անգամ դադարեցրել է խաղաղության բանակցությունները «Ազգային ազատագրական բանակի» հետ մեկ տարուց պակաս ժամանակահատվածում:
Կոլումբիայի կառավարությունը ԱԱԲ-ից պահանջել է դադարեցնել բոլոր հարձակումները և թույլ տալ իշխանություններին մուտք գործել տարածաշրջան և մարդասիրական օգնություն տրամադրել:
ԱԱԲ-ն Կատատումբոյում բախվել է «Կոլումբիայի հեղափոխական զինված ուժերի» նախկին անդամների հետ, պարտիզանական խմբավորում, որը ցրվել է 2016 թվականին Կոլումբիայի կառավարության հետ խաղաղության պայմանագիր կնքելուց հետո:
