Как сообщает "Арменпресс", об этом сообщил генеральный секретарь ООН Антониу Гутерриш, проведший в Бейруте переговоры с президентом республики Джозеф Аун.

"Мы сделаем все возможное, чтобы обеспечить безопасный вывод израильских войск из южного Ливана к 27 января, сроку, установленному соглашением о прекращении огня", - заявил Гутерриш, выразив готовность мобилизовать международное сообщество для оказания всех видов поддержки. в Ливан.

Генеральный секретарь ООН поздравил президента Ауни с избранием на пост главы республики и выразил солидарность с тяжело пострадавшим народом Ливана. По его словам, будущее правительство республики имеет уникальную возможность укрепить государственные институты и работать на возрождение страны.
