Сегодня около 13 миллионов человек находятся под предупреждением об «особо опасной ситуации», что означает чрезвычайно высокий риск быстрого распространения пожара, сообщает NBC News.
Предупреждение действует до завтрашнего дня. Ветер Санта-Ана достигнет своего пика сегодня утром, его порывы могут достигать 50-75 миль в час, а относительная влажность воздуха составит около 10-25%.
К местам наибольшего риска на сегодняшний день относятся: Вентура, Окснард, Камарилло, Уэстлейк-Виллидж, Сими-Вэлли, Сан-Фернандо, Филлмор и Пирамид-Лейк.
По прогнозам, сегодня днем ветер немного ослабнет, его порывы будут достигать 40-55 миль в час (64-88 км-ч — ред.), но относительная влажность воздуха резко упадет на 8-15%.
С сегодняшнего вечера и до утра завтрашнего дня порывы ветра снова усилятся до 45-65 миль в час (72-104 км/ч), а влажность воздуха составит от 10 до 25%. Завтра ближе к вечеру ветер ослабнет. Хотя, по прогнозам, завтра ветер ослабнет, сохраняется критическая опасность возникновения пожаров.
