ЕК: скачков цен на энергию в ЕС нет после прекращения поставок газа из РФ

Скачки цен на электроэнергию в Евросоюзе после прекращения поставок российского газа через Украину пока не наблюдаются, Еврокомиссия (ЕК) внимательно следит за ситуацией. Об этом сообщила на пресс-конференции в Брюсселе представитель ЕК Анна-Кайса Итконен.
«Мы не увидели скачков цен в новом году, рынок остается стабильным», - сказала она, отвечая на соответствующий вопрос журналистов. Итконен подчеркнула, что ЕК внимательно следит за ситуацией вокруг цен.
По ее словам, в Еврокомиссии была создана экстренная группа, которая готовилась к прекращению действия соглашения по транзиту российского газа через Украину. «Экстренная группа по газу провела встречу на прошлой неделе, чтобы подвести итоги. И они заключили, что нет обеспокоенности относительно энергетической безопасности ЕС», - добавила Итконен.
Она подтвердила, что соглашение по поставкам газа из РФ было остановлено после 31 декабря. «Это случилось, как и ожидалось. Мы работали интенсивно в течение года со странами ЕС и Украиной, чтобы подготовиться к этому сценарию», - сказала представитель ЕК.
