Չնայած մեր օրգանիզմի վրա ակլոհոլի՝ բոլորին քաջ հայտնի ազդեցությանը, աշխարհը չի դադարի այն խմել: Գրեթե յուրաքանչյուր երկիր ունի իր սիրելի ալկոհոլային ըմպելիքը, և աշխարհում ընթանում է հավերժական վեճ այն մասին, թե ով է ամենից շատ խմում:

Ալկոհոլը գոյություն ունի հազարամյակներ, և դրա հետ բազմաթիվ հետաքրքիր փաստեր են կապված: Դատարկ բաժակների պաթոլոգիական վախից մինչ 3.75 մլն դոլար արժողությամբ օղիներ՝ հետաքրքիր փաստեր ալկոհոլի մասին:

Իրենց գոյությամբ կոկտեյլները պարտական են «չոր օրենքին»: Դրանք առաջարկվել են՝ քողարկելու անորակ խմիչքի համը:
Հետազոտողների կարծիքով՝ ամեն րոպե բնակչության 0.7 տոկոսը գտնվում է ակլոհոլի ազդեցության տակ: Այսինքն՝ ներկայումս 50 մլն մարդ հարբած է:
Աշխարհում ամենաթանկ օղու մեկ շիշը կարելի է գնել 3.75 մլն դոլարով: «Միլիոնատիրոջ օղին» ստացվում է սկանդինավյան կեչու փայտից: Սկզբում ֆիլտրվում է սառույցի, այնուհետև՝ ածխի միջոցով: Այն վաճառվում է բյուրեղապակե շշով, որն ունի պլատինի և ռադիումի հավելումներ, զարդարված է ալմաստներով:
