Հայաստանի զինվելու լայնածավալ արշավը տարածաշրջանի համար սպառնալիքի ևս մեկ աղբյուր է, եթե խոսենք մեզ համար ամենատագնապալի պահի մասին, ապա, իհարկե, դա Հայաստանի զինվելն է: Այս մասին հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը:
Նրա պնդմամբ՝ սա Հայաստանի համար «սխալ ճանապարհ» է:
«Թե՛ իմ պաշտոնական հայտարարություններում, թե՛ հայկական կողմի հետ մեր բանակցությունների ընթացքում ես նրանց բազմիցս զգուշացրել եմ խուսափել այս վտանգավոր ճանապարհից։ Օտար երկրները, որոնք այսօր էլ հրահրում են Հայաստանին նորից հարձակվել Ադրբեջանի վրա, նրա թիկունքում չեն կանգնի, ուղղակի չեն կարողանալու դա անել։
Նորից եմ ասում՝ քանի դեռ ուշ չէ, թող հեռանան այս վտանգավոր ճանապարհից։ Հարավային Կովկասը պետք է դառնա խաղաղության, հանգստության և համագործակցության տարածաշրջան. Հայաստանի լայնածավալ և արագացված զինումը, նրան մահաբեր զենքի մատակարարումը կարող է խաթարել այս խաղաղությունը, որը հնարավոր է։
Հաշվի առնելով Հայաստանի հսկայածավալ սպառազինությունը՝ մենք էապես մեծացրել ենք 2025-ի մեր ռազմական բյուջեն։ Այն հասել է ռեկորդային մակարդակի՝ մինչև 8,4 մլրդ մանաթ (5 մլրդ դոլար)», – ասել է նա։
