Բելգիայի ՆՊ արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովը կողմ քվեարկեց Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող բանաձևին

Բելգիայի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովը հուլիսի 7-ին կողմ է քվեարկել Բելգիայի կառավարության՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող բանաձևի նախագծին: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում այս մասին հայտնեց Հայ դատի Եվրոպայի հանձնախմբի մամուլի պատասխանատու Պետո Դեմիրճյանը: «Մի քանի բանաձևերի առաջարկներ էին ներկայացված, որոնցից ընտրվեց կառավարության և կոալիցիոն կուսակցության ներկայացրած նախագիծը: Առաջարկ-բանաձևը պետք է քվեարկության դրվի նաև Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի լիագումար նիստին»,- նշեց Դեմիրճյանը՝ հավելելով, որ ՆՊ քվեարկության օրը դեռևս հստակեցված չէ:

Կառավարությունից բացի, բանաձևերի նախագծեր էին ներկայացրել նաև ընդդիմադիր երեք կուսակցությունները: Ընտրված բանաձևի նախագիծը ճանաչում և դատապարտում է 1915 թվականի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, կոչ անում Թուրքիային և Հայաստանին հաշտեցման եզրեր փնտրել, և դրվատում Բելգիայի վարչապետ Շարլ Միշելի հայտարարությունը, որով երկրի կառավարության ղեկավարը խորհրդարանում ճանաչել էր Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը:

Անդրադառնալով Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցում իր դիրքորոշմանը՝ Միշելը հայտարարել է. «Մեր դիրքորոշումը միշտ պարզ է եղել։ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը եղել է։ Այդ հարցում երկու կարծիք լինել չի կարող»:

1998 թվականին Բելգիայի խորհրդարանը Վերին պալատի՝ Սենատի մակարդակով Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող բանաձեւ է ընդունել:
