Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Նատալի Լուազոյի համոզմամբ՝ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման շուրջ բանակցություններում այսպես կոչված «Արևմտյան Ադրբեջան» կամ «միջանցք» նարատիվները տեղ չպիտի ունենան։ Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավորը նման կարծիք է հայտնել «Արմենպրես»-ի թղթակցին հետ զրույցում։

««Արևմտյան Ադրբեջան» կամ «միջանցք» նարատիվները տեղ չպիտի ունենան։ Կապը լինելու է որպես խաղաղության համաձայնագրի դրական արդյունք՝ հարգելով Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանությունը, այլ ոչ թե որպես նախապայման»,-շեշտել է Նատալի Լուազոն։

Նա հավելել է, որ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև կայուն խաղաղությունը պետք է երկու երկրների ընդհանուր նպատակը լինի։

«Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև կայուն խաղաղությունը պետք է լինի երկու երկրների ընդհանուր նպատակը։ Մինչ այժմ Հայաստանը ցույց է տվել իր բարի կամքն ու փոխզիջման պատրաստակամությունը։ Ադրբեջանը պետք է անհապաղ համարժեք կերպով արձագանքի»,-ընդգծել է պատգամավորը։

Նրա կարծիքով՝ անհրաժեշտ է հարգել երկու երկրների ինքնիշխանությունն ու տարածքային ամբողջականությունը։ 

Պատգամավորը նաև հիշեցրել է Բաքվում ապօրինաբար և շինծու մեղադրանքներով անազատության մեջ գտնվող հայ գերիների մասին․ «Եկեք չմոռանանք նաև բոլոր ռազմագերիների ազատ արձակման հարցը և հարգանքը մշակութային ժառանգության նկատմամբ»:

Անդրադարձ կատարելով նաև ռազմական տեխնիկա ձեռք բերելու համար Երևանի հասցեին Բաքվից հնչող մեղադրանքներին՝ պատգամավորը նկատեց, որ դա յուրաքանչյուր անկախ երկրի գործն է։

«Ինչ վերաբերում է ռազմական տեխնիկայի գնմանն, ապա յուրաքանչյուր անկախ երկիր պարտավոր է ինքն իրեն պաշտպանել և զերծ մնալ ռազմական ագրեսիայից»,-եզրափակեց Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավորը։
