Դեկտեմբերի 24-ին Սուրբ Ստեփանոս Նախավկայի տոնի առիթով Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն ընդունեց Մայր Աթոռում սպասավորող, Գևորգյան հոգևոր ճեմարանի և նորընծա սարկավագներին՝ ուղեկցությամբ Սյունյաց թեմի առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Մակար եպիսկոպոս Հակոբյանի, Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի լուսարարապետի պաշտոնակատար Հոգեշնորհ Տ. Հարություն վարդապետ Կիրակոսյանի և Գևորգյան հոգևոր ճեմարանի տեսուչ Հոգեշնորհ Տ. Շահե ծայրագույն վարդապետ Անանյանի։

Սարկավագաց դասը Նորին Սրբությանը ողջունեց «Ստեփանոս, քաղցրիկ տատրակ» տաղով, ապա Սյունյաց թեմի առաջնորդը, սարկավագների անունից շնորհավորելով Նորին Սրբությանը Սուրբ Ստեփանոս Նախավկայի տոնի կապակցությամբ, հայցեց Հայոց Հայրապետի օրհնությունը։

Իր հերթին Հայր Շահեն ընդգծեց, որ նորընծա սարկավագները, ուսումնառությունն ավարտելով, պատրաստակամ են իրենց գիտելիքներն ու կարողությունները նախանձախնդրությամբ ի սպաս դնել հանուն Եկեղեցու պայծառության։

Այնուհետև նվիրական օրվա առիթով Հայոց Հովվապետը շնորհավորեց և իր հայրապետական պատգամը փոխանցեց Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում սպասավորող և նորընծա սարկավագներին: Նորին Սրբությունը հույս հայտնեց, որ նորընծաները, իրենց հայացքի առջև ունենալով Սուրբ Ստեփանոս սարկավագի լուսավոր կերպարը, կներշնչվեն սրբի արիությամբ, առ Տերն ունեցած անմանացորդ սիրով ու հանձնառության ոգով:

Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետը հաստատեց, որ Սուրբ Ստեփանոսը դարձավ ի սեր Քրիստոսի առաջին մարտիրոսը և առ Քրիստոս իր հավատարմությամբ ու հավատքի զորությամբ նախանշեց Քրիստոսի Եկեղեցու հաղթական ուղին:

Անդրադառնալով ներկայիս կացությանը և ժողովրդի առջև ծառացած մարտահրավերներին՝ Նորին Սրբությունը կարևորեց եկեղեցականաց դասի ծառայանվիրումի ոգին՝ անմնացորդ սիրով լծվելու Տիրոջ խոսքի և տերունավանդ պատվիրանների քարոզչությանը։

Հանդիպմանն Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետը հորդորեց սարկավագներին առաջնորդվել Սուրբ Ստեփանոսի բարի օրինակով, ամենայն ջանք ի գործ դնել բարձր պահելու Հայ Եկեղեցու բարի համբավը և լավագույնս արդյունավորելու իրենց ծառայությունը։

Վերջում Նորին Սրբությունը «Պահպանիչ» աղոթքով օրհնեց սարկավագաց դասին:
