«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Նախօրեին Հանրային հեռուստաընկերության եթերում տեղի ունեցավ «Հայ-ադրբեջանական խաղաղության գործընթացը» թեմայով բանավեճ՝ քպականների և խորհրդարանական ընդդիմության ներկայացուցիչների միջև:
 
Սոցցանցերի որոշ օգտատերեր նկատել էին, որ իշխանական կողմում «մասսովկա» ապահովողների մեջ էր Ագրարային համալսարանի ուսանողական խորհրդի նախագահ Թոռնիկ Ալիյանը, որը հանրությանը հայտնի դարձավ Ավետիք Չալաբյանի «գործով»: Հիշեցնենք, որ Ալիյանը նշյալ «գործով» առանցքային վկան է և Չալաբյանի դեմ փաստացի միակ ցուցմունք տված անձը: Ընդ որում, ըստ նույն Ալիյանի ցուցմունքի, իրեն առաջարկվել է ընդդիմության ցույցի համար «մասսովկա» ապահովել, ու ինքը համաձայնել է քննարկել այդ հարցը: Մի կողմ թողնելով բուն դատական պրոցեսը, որի ժամանակ Չալաբյանի կողմից դրամական հատուցման առաջարկի փաստն այդպես էլ չի ապացուցվել, առավել հետաքրքիր է, որ ժամանակին ընդդիմության համար «մասսովկա» լինելու թեման քննարկելու պատրաստ անձնավորությունը հիմա «մասսովկա» է ապահովում իշխանության համար: Երեկ որոշ օգտատերեր կես կատակ-կես լուրջ նշում էին, որ նրան այդ հաղորդմանը հրավիրողները երևի թե պետք է զգուշանան. մի օր էլ Ալիյանը գուցե նրանց դեմ ցուցմունք տա, թե այդ մասնակցության ու իր հետ «մարդ բերելու» համար իրեն գումար են առաջարկել:
 
Իսկ եթե ավելի լուրջ, ապա Ալիյանի՝ իշխանության կողմից «մասսովկա» լինելու հանգամանքը մեկ անգամ ևս ցույց է տալիս, որ Չալաբյանի «գործն» ամբողջությամբ քաղաքական ենթատեքստ ունի, իսկ իշխանությունները ընդդիմադիր գործչի նկատմամբ «գործ» են սարքել իրենց «ակտիվիստի» ցուցմունքով: Պատահական չէ, որ նույն Ավետիք Չալաբյանը, անդրադառնալով Ալիյանի՝ դատական նիստերից բազմիցս խուսափելուն, ոչ մեկ անգամ նշել է, թե «Թոռնիկ Ալիյանը հավանաբար հասկանում է, որ ինքը իշխանության կեղտոտ խաղի զոհն է դարձել»:
