Սիրիայի իշխանությունները պատրաստ են ռազմավարական հարաբերություններ կառուցել Թուրքիայի հետ մի շարք ոլորտներում։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է երկրի նոր ղեկավար Ահմեդ ալ-Շարաան Դամասկոսում Թուրքիայի արտգործնախարար Հաքան Ֆիդանի հետ համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսում։

«Մենք քննարկել ենք Սիրիայի և Թուրքիայի փոխգործակցությունը տնտեսական, քաղաքական և սոցիալական ոլորտներում, Թուրքիան Սիրիայի բարեկամն է, նա մեզ օգնեց հեղափոխության առաջին օրերից, մենք դա չենք մոռանա և ապագայում ծրագրում ենք ռազմավարական հարաբերություններ կառուցել Անկարայի հետ»,- ընդգծել է ալ-Շարաան:

Ալ-Շարաայի խոսքով՝ Թուրքիայի հետ գործընկերությունը կօգնի Սիրիայի նոր իշխանություններին լուծել իրենց առջև ծառացած որոշ խնդիրներ, մասնավորապես՝ փախստականների հարցը՝ նշելով, որ սիրիացիների առնվազն կեսը ներկայումս ապրում է արտերկրում։

Բացի այդ, Սիրիայում ենթակառուցվածքները ոչնչացվել են «նախորդ ռեժիմի» կողմից, իսկ ներկայիս պատժամիջոցները բարդացնում են դրա վերականգնման գործընթացը, նշել է ալ-Շարաան։ Այդ կապակցությամբ նա միջազգային հանրությանը կոչ է արել որքան հնարավոր է շուտ վերացնել Բաշար ալ-Ասադի օրոք իր երկրի դեմ սահմանված պատժամիջոցները։

«Անհրաժեշտ է հնարավորինս մեղմել սիրիացի ժողովրդի տառապանքը», - ասել է նա։

Շարաան նաև հաստատել է, որ Սիրիայում գործող զինված կազմավորումները շուտով կհայտարարեն ինքնալուծարման մասին և կդառնան երկրի պաշտպանության նախարարության մաս։ Նրա խոսքով, խմբավորման հրամանատարների մեծ մասը համաձայնել է այս պայմանին՝ նույնիսկ Ասադի դեմ ռազմական գործողության մեկնարկից առաջ։

Միևնույն ժամանակ, Սիրիայի նոր իշխանությունների առաջնորդն ընդգծել է, որ ինքը «թույլ չի տա զենքի անվերահսկելի շրջանառություն» երկրում, քանի որ «հեղափոխության փուլում կարող են լինել տարբեր զինված խմբավորումներ, սակայն, երբ խոսքը վերաբերում է պետությանը, նրանց գործունեությունը պետք է կարգավորվի»։
