Վրաստանի վարչապետ Իրակլի Կոբախիձեն հայտարարել է, որ նախագահ Սալոմե Զուրաբիշվիլին քրեական պատասխանատվության կենթարկվի երկու գործով, եթե նա նշանակի նոր խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ և եթե չլքի նստավայրը դեկտեմբերի 29-ին պետության նոր ղեկավարի երդմնակալությունից հետո։

Վարչապետը հայտնել է, որ Զուրաբիշվիլին խորհրդակցություններ է անցկացրել ընդդիմադիրների և հասարակական կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչների հետ, որից հետո նա ծրագրել է նոր ընտրություններ նշանակել, սակայն իրեն համոզել են նման հայտարարություն չանել։ Զուրաբիշվիլին, իր հերթին, նախատեսում է կիրակի երեկոյան արտակարգ ճեպազրույց անցկացնել։

«Սալոմե Զուրաբիշվիլին երեկ հավաքել է ընդդիմադիր հատվածի և հասարակական կազմակերպություններին այն մտադրությամբ, որ ինքը պետք է նշանակեր խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ, բայց ինչ-որ խելացի նրան խորհուրդ է տվել չանել դա... Ես համոզված եմ որ նրա գանականությւոնը բավարարութմ է, որպեսզի չխախտի քրեկան օերնսդրությունը։ Եթե պատկերացնենք, որ նա հաստատվում է նախագահական նստավայրում, ապա այս դեպքում դա նույնպես քրեական օրենսգրքով նախատեսված հանցագործություն է, կրկնում եմ՝ գուցե ոչ ոք չուզենա 72-ամյա կնոջը բանտ ուղարկել։ բայց նման արարքով նա կդատապարտի բոլոր այն մարդկանց, ովքեր այդ իրավիճակում իր կողքին կլինեն նախագահական նստավայրում»,-«ՌԻԱ նովոստի»-ի փոխանցմամբ ճեպազրույցում ասել է Կոբախիձեն։
