Ադրբեջանի կողմից օկուպացված Արցախի Հանրապետության նախկին պետնախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը, ով ավելի քան մեկ տարի գտնվում է Ադրբեջանում ապօրինի կալանքի տակ, մեկուսացվել է իր ընտանիքի կողմից վարձած փաստաբաններից։ Այս մասին RTVI հեռուստաալիքին հայտնել է Վարդանյանի որդին՝ Դավիթ Վարդանյանը։
«Իրավիճակի առանցքային խնդիրն ու անհեթեթությունն այն է, որ հայրիկիս միայն ադրբեջանցի փաստաբանները տեսնելու հնարավորություն ունեն։ Մեր միջազգային իրավաբանները երբեք չեն կարողացել տեսնել հորս, առավել ևս կապ հաստատել նրա հետ: Այսինքն տեղեկատվական ամբողջական վակուում է և լիակատար մեկուսացում»,- ասել է Դավիթ Վարդանյանը։
Նրա խոսքով, Ռուբեն Վարդանյանին տեսակցելու փաստաբանների բոլոր դիմումները «կամ ուղղակի անտեսվել են, կամ մերժվել»։ Թույլ չեն տալիս նաև Ռուբեն Վարդանյանին այցելել «անկախ բժիշկներ»։
«Միակ բանը, որ եղել է, հետազոտությունն էր, որ պետական հիվանդանոցն արել է նրա հացադուլից հետո։ Որոշ այցեր, ինչպես հասկացանք, Կարմիր Խաչից էին, բայց, դարձյալ, դա բավարար չէ, քանի որ դրանք բավականին մակերեսային են»,- ասել է Դավիթ Վարդանյանը։
Նա նաև նշել է, որ նամակներ կարելի է ուղարկել միայն Կարմիր Խաչի միջոցով, որն ունի «շատ խիստ կանոնակարգեր»՝ ոչ ավելի, քան չորս էջ։
ԱՀ նախկին պետնախարարի որդին նշել է, որ զանգում է հորը, սակայն հեռախոսով «ոչ մի հարց» չեն կարող քննարկել։ Նա նաև ասել է, որ ընտանիքը երախտապարտ է տեղացի փաստաբանին, ով «վտանգում է իր կյանքը»:
Դ.Վարդանյանը նշել է, որ ընտանիքը «չափազանց երախտապարտ է» Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին, ով հույս էր հայտնել, որ Ադրբեջանը Արցախի Հանրապետության նախկին ղեկավարների հետ հարաբերություններում կառաջնորդվի «մարդասիրական նկատառումներով»:
«Մենք աներևակայելի երախտապարտ ենք նման խոսքերի համար և հուսով ենք, որ դրանք կլսվեն»,- ասել է նա։
Դավիթ Վարդանյանը հաստատել է, որ իր հորը 20 հոդվածներով 45 մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել։ Նրա խոսքով, քրեական գործը պարունակում է 25 հազար էջ ադրբեջաներեն, որոնք Ռ.Վարդանյանի համար բանավոր թարգմանվում են «քննիչի և դատախազության» կողմից նշանակված թարգմանչի կողմից։
