Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հարազատներն ու մերձավոր շրջապատը Մեծ Բրիտանիայում հարյուր միլիոնավոր դոլարների գույք են ձեռք բերել, հայտնում է OCCRP-ն։
Չնայած թափանցիկության գծով բարեփոխումներին, այս տեղեկությունը դեռևս հասանելի չէ օֆշորային հավատարմագրային սեփականության հատուկ պայմանների պատճառով:
Մեծ Բրիտանիայում 2022 թվականին՝ Ուկրաինայում լայնամասշտաբ պատերազմի բռնկումից հետո ընդունված օրենքով պետք է վերացվի բրիտանական սեփականության օտարերկրյա սեփականատերերի շուրջ գաղտնիության շղարշը։ Ինչ-որ բան իրոք հաջողվել է պարզել: Պարզվել է, որ Իլհամ Ալիևի դուստրերը Լոնդոնում վեց շքեղ բնակարան ունեն։
Սակայն հայտնի չէ, թե ով է վերահսկում ևս տասը ակտիվներ, որոնց վրա նախագահական ընտանիքը 160 միլիոն դոլար է ծախսել. դրանք գրանցված են օֆշորային տրաստում։ Հավատարմագրային սեփականատերերի մասին տեղեկությունները հանրությունից թաքցվում են:
Իրավապաշտպանները նշում են, որ իրավական այս բացը խաթարում է կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի ջանքերը: Ոլորտի ներկայացուցիչները և որոշ քաղաքական գործիչներ դեմ են թափանցիկության նոր բարեփոխումներին՝ դա պատճառաբանելով խոցելի անհատների գաղտնիությունը պաշտպանելու անհրաժեշտությամբ:
Այս հարցի շուրջ իշխանությունները, կառավարության խորհրդակցություններից գրեթե մեկ տարի անց, որոշում չեն ընդունել։

2021 թվականին OCCRP-ը բացահայտել է, որ Իլհամ Ալիևի հարազատները և նրանց շրջապատը Լոնդոնում ունեն մոտ 700 միլիոն դոլար արժողությամբ շքեղ անշարժ գույք: Ալիևի ղեկավարման քսան տարվա ընթացքում այդ մարդիկ հսկայական հարստություն են կուտակել, որը ներդրել են ժողովրդավարական աշխարհի ֆինանսական կենտրոններից մեկում։
Անշարժ գույքի մեջ իրենց ներգրավվածությունը թաքցնելու համար նրանք այն գրանցել են տասնյակ օֆշորային ընկերությունների անուններով։ Ակտիվները հնարավոր եղավ կապել Ալիևների հետ միայն Հետաքննող լրագրողների միջազգային կոնսորցիումի (ICIJ) ձեռքն ընկած «Պանդորայի արխիվի»՝ օֆշորային իրավասություններում կորպորատիվ ծառայություններ մատուցող ընկերություններից արտահոսքի շնորհիվ:
