Թուրք-ադրբեջանական հարաբերությունների որոշակի սառեցման ֆոնին պաշտոնական Երևանը փորձում է արագ կարգավորել հարաբերություններն Անկարայի հետ։ Թուրքիան, պատճառաբանելով Ադրբեջանի դիրքորոշումները, երկար ժամանակ չէր ուզում կատարել պայմանավորվածությունները, այն է՝ սահմանը բացել 3-րդ երկրների դիվանագիտական անցագիր ունեցողների համար։ Մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, վերջին օրերին տենդագին բանակցություններ են ընթանում ոչ միայն այս, այլև այլ հարցերի շուրջ։
Անկարան 44-օրյա պատերազմից հետո փորձել է Հարավային Կովկասում ավելի լայն ներկայություն ապահովել, բայց Բաքուն նախօրեին Իլհամ Ալիևի բերանով է մերժել թուրքական ռազմակայանի տեղակայումն Ադրբեջանի տարածքում։ Եվ այժմ, Թուրքիան փորձում է «պատժել» Ալիևին իր խամաճիկ Փաշինյանի միջոցով։ Վերջինս, իշխանությունը պահելու մարմաջով տառապելով, դեմ չէ Թուրքիայի ազդեցության աճին։
ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը ելույթ է ունեցել ՍԾՏՀԿ արտաքին գործերի նախարարների խորհրդի 49-րդ հանդիպմանը, որտեղ նշել է, թե Հայաստանը և Թուրքիան արդեն համաձայնել են համատեղ գնահատել Գյումրի-Կարս երկաթուղով սահմանի անցման տեխնիկական պահանջները։ «Միևնույն ժամանակ, Ադրբեջանին առաջարկել ենք երկաթուղային ենթակառուցվածքը վերագործարկելու, սահմանի հատման և մաքսային ընթացակարգերի պարզեցման և երկու անվտանգության որոշ լրացուցիչ մեխանիզմներ ապահովելու եղանակներ։ «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» նախագիծը, որը որպես խաղաղության հիմք մեծապես կարևորում է փոխվստահության ձևավորումը և փոխկապակցվածության հնարավոր ընդլայնումը, տարածաշրջանային համագործակցությունը բազմաթիվ ուղղություններով խթանելու ներուժ ունի: Այն կարող է արդյունավետորեն կապել Ծոցը, Սև և Կասպից ծովերը` այդպիսով զգալիորեն նպաստելով համաշխարհային տրանսպորտային շղթաներին մեր տարածաշրջանի ինտեգրմանը և հսկայական օգուտ բերելով մեր տարածաշրջանի բոլոր երկրներին: Այն արդեն արժանացել է բազմաթիվ միջազգային գործընկերների դրական արձագանքների, իսկ մենք կշարունակենք մեր ջանքերը՝ ապահովելու նախագծի իրականացմանն ուղղված հետագա աջակցությունը»,- նշել է Միրզոյանը:
Փաստացի, ՀՀ իշխանությունը դեմ չէ «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» վերահսկողությունը հանձնել թուրքական կողմին, բայց դեմ է ռուսական վերահսկողությանը։ Ընդ որում, շատ աչք չծակելու համար ցանկանում են իբր միջազգային «անկախ» մասնավոր ընկերություն բերել, որն էլ իրականում կլինի Թուրքիայի ազդեցության ներքո։
