Վարուժան Ավետիսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
Ոչինչ պատահական չէ: Մեր երկիրը զավթած քոչվորների նեղ ու վայրենի ենթագիտակցության մեջ Ազատության հրապարակը և Օպերայի ու բալետի ակադեմիական թատրոնն անարժեք երևույթներ են: Սակայն այդ նեղ ու վայրենի ենթագիտակցությունը հուշում է նրանց, որ դրանք մեզ համար արժեքավոր են: Այդքանը հասկանալու պահից արդեն գործի է անցնում նրանց գլխավոր շարժիչ ուժը՝ պարզունակ սպառողական բնազդը, որի հրահանգով նրանք նախ ձգտում են խլել մեզանից այն, ինչն արժեքավոր է մեզ համար (տվյալ դեպքում՝ Ազատության հրապարակը և Թատրոնը), այնուհետև փորձում են յուրացնել խլածը: Սակայն յուրացումը հնարավոր է բացառապես ճանաչման մակարդակով ու խորությամբ: Նրանք հրապարակը ճանաչում են ընդամենը որպես հարթ տարածք, իսկ Թատրոնը՝ որպես շենք:
Այդ պատճառով ավտոմեքենաները հաղթականորեն կայանել են Ազատության հրապարակում: Կասկածելու կարիք չկա, որ եթե հնարավոր լիներ ավտոմեքենաներով մտնել Թատրոնի դահլիճ և հասնել մինչ համապատասխան նստարան, ապա քոչվորներն այդպես էլ կվարվեին:
