Новые власти Сирии заявили о поддержке стратегических отношений с Турцией

Новые власти Сирии намерены поддерживать стратегические отношения со своим соседом Турцией. Об этом сообщил газете Yeni Şafak лидер вооруженных формирований, пришедших к власти в Дамаске, Ахмед аш-Шараа, известный по прозвищу Абу Мухаммед аль-Джулани.
«С Турцией у нас будут стратегические отношения. У Турции много приоритетов в создании нового сирийского государства. Будут взаимные коммерческие связи, мы верим, что Турция передаст Сирии свой опыт экономического развития», - сказал он.
Аш-Шараа выразил надежду, что половина жителей Сирии, покинувших ее с 2011 года, вернется на родину. «Сирийцы нашли убежище во многих странах, но больше всех их приняла Турция, она больше других относилась к ним с уважением. Надеюсь, Сирия не забудет это», - добавил он.
По данным МВД Турции, на территории республики могут находиться чуть более 2,9 млн сирийских беженцев. Президент Турции Тайип Эрдоган ранее сообщал о планах обеспечить возвращение в Сирию порядка 1 млн беженцев. После падения в Сирии администрации Башара Асада сирийцы начали возвращаться из Турции на родину.
